A small black smoke appeared for a few seconds only to dissolve into nothing. Another large shadow was put down after leaving behind a bit of money and one or items. How long has Yu been here just for training? Hours maybe? It was hard to tell time here in this foggy world the foolish silver haired teen is in. But yes, Yu has been training in a castle that was once belong to a shadow of one of his friends. It was empty now that the princess was gone. But he wanted to come here for a request from school. Someone from his school wanted a statue of a demon. Don’t ask why they needed it. But if they need help and there is a reward for it. So it was kind of best to not to ask. Sadly, he haven’t had any luck on finding any in the fifth floor. Maybe he could try his next luck on the next floor? 

As he was about to bent down to pick up of the drop items from his last battle, he could hear a noise from around the corner of the hallway. A growl, maybe? He didn’t know. But he quickly place his left hand back on the sword he sheath just moments ago. Was it another shadow? “Pissed off I beat your brother, huh? He attacked me first just to let you know!” He said rather cocky and arrogant tone.

Reunion in Ruin

            Infiltration was such a simple thing, diving through the very depths of the mind was hardly something too difficult. The connection between Narukami Yu and the son Adachi Naozumi made this missing link so much easier to locate. Digging through faint memories, a sleight cajoling here and there to the Shadow... It all ended in his benefit.

And it was then, he dove into the mental Palace of the Jester, a world of blood red ruin and emptiness. A desolate wasteland that was utterly devastated into nothing more but annihilation... What a sight. 

            “So this is our dad’s mind... It’s a bit too quiet, but I did enter without permission or notice,” Arsene had landed on a broken structure, the red water leaking onto the earth permeated the stench of blood, and the pillager of twilight had to cover his disguise’s nose.

A guilty conscious, but the blood was already spilled. This Palace seemed to be a copy of another town, and yet the stench alone told the destruction had decimated any cognitive people. There was no fog, no deception of self... But only the sea of regret...

            Hah! That almost made the Persona laugh. Even if this person had a guilty conscious, it certainly wasn’t glaringly obvious, though there was the floating body of a little girl dressed in pink. Arsene descended and got a closer look, and shook his head.

This seems to be something significant, the floating body was indeed dead, but she looked like she was sleeping in the water. Unlike the countless bodies mangled, Arsene could clearly see a grand total of three people with actual visible features that were whole and almost resting in the waters...

            And what seems like a fuzzy image on the shoreline. It was not in the water like all the rest, but Arsene was drawn to it. This cognition seems to be there, but there was nothing concrete to make something. What was this? When the Joker went to touch the fuzzy cognition, a sound reached his ears. Instinct pulled the gun out of the coat and pointed to the source of the sound.

            “So, this must be your Palace. I was not expecting you to come by and say hi,” of course, the gun did not lower, not even for his other’s dad... Much as Arsene will never hear the end of it from Naozumi if this was known to either him or Yu.

“I have, once when Rise-san offered me a drink at Junes during an outing we had in the hopes of helping her in Maths. I cannot say if the flavor ‘mint’ is the best one, but it’s better than most beverages I have tasted at Junes’ list of options.”

I haven’t personally tried it at all, it’s apparently a Japanese thing more than a normie one & easy to find at every convenience store.
