Living next to the rescue station you currently work at (and want to continue working at) is fun, because I'm just getting ready for the early shift and heard the poor folks from the nightshift passing my house with their siren on, 30 minutes before change of shift. :')

#i can clearly see their faces when their pager went off oh no #there's no way they'll be in at shift change and they're gonna be MISERABLE #although if they were super lucky the replacement team had already arrived and took it from them #because i noticed this is a thing at that station and i really like that #you're in before your shift actually starts anyway and then a lot of the time if a new call comes in within like the last 30 or 40 minutes #the next shift offers to take it from there #which is a really nice work climate if you ask me #ems stuff #soryu does medical stuff

Just learned that technically me and the EMS chief were quite literally partners in crime yesterday. Go us!
