Margaret used to cut Sia's hair for her, because short hair is easier to fight with. Sia doesn't trust anyone else with her hair, so she doesn't cut her hair until she gets Margaret back to do it for her
Just growing out her hair for decades (though a bunch of it was skipped due to her time travel, technically) until her wife can cut it for her again
