August 12th there's a MAJOR planet parade upcoming, with 6/7 planets (6 7 haha) only Venus will be missing from it.
What the FUCK is a planet parade?
Well a planet parade happens when more than 2 planets are located close together on one side of the sun, making them visible in the night sky all at once.
Why is this one so important?
This planet parade includes Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus. The first four are visible with the naked eye, the other two need binoculars or a telescope.
A planet parade of this size is EXTREMELY rare, with the next one estimated around 2080.
How and where do I see it?
The parade will rise in the east and set in the west, in order of Neptune, Saturn, Uranus, Mars, Mercury and lastly Jupiter. (The moon will also be rising with Mercury)
The last two will be rapidly followed by sunrise, so make sure to be quick :)
