YES YES YES GET MIRROR'S EDGE PLEASE IT'S SO GOOD I'm highly biased but it's an experience, the entire thing has such a cohesive style and I love the questions they ask with the world and UGH the gameplay is so GOOD I think it's definitely worth a try!

The Aesthetic and the use of the primary colours in it’s environments alone make the designer in me scream of joy. It’s so pleasing to the eyes. I just put it on my wishlist. Thanks for your recommendation!

Harassan, our hahren, brought him to our door. Carried him, really -- because he was fully out of it, cut up badly and bleeding and broken. He wasn’t moving when I first saw him and I burst into tears -- I couldn’t help myself. I thought he was dead. 

Matilda -- I didn’t know she was Matilda then, I didn’t even notice her at first -- followed him inside, and lingered near the sofa Harassan deposited him on. He introduced her as a healer. I remember her, so distinctly, asking if she could help him. I must have looked at her like she was stupid, because I didn’t even think for a second she meant magic healing. Harassan’s always been friendly to mages, though, if to the immense consternation of some others in the alienage. But I won’t bore you with all that. 

And that girl worked tirelessly on my boy. Setting broken bones and healing them over hours of what I suppose was magical exertion, or knitting flesh back together, or, when he woke up, making medicines to help with the pain. I’d doze off, sat cross-legged on the floor in the front room, and she’d be working, and when I’d wake up hours later, she’d still be working.

I heard other stories like it. Not just in the alienage, and not just Matilda. Coughs cured, babies delivered, so on. So much of the pain and fear of death we’d become accustomed to, if just for a short time, vanished. We were spoiled. And we were shown what life could be like if we didn’t lock the Maker’s gifts up like they’d committed a crime. No one cares much what I think, I know, but my son would be dead without her. Plenty of mothers like me weren’t so lucky.

I cannot impress upon you enough that she is a social degenerate. I’m sure you find her pretty, charming and glamorous. But her company is to the soul as a cancer is to the body.

Okay, so this is not really a story but whatever. when I was young for a long time I believed that bisexual means loving yourself and basically I wanted to be bisexual so badly omg. until I learned what it actually means of course. I think this tells a lot about me. First, I’m dumb. And second, I wanted to love myself even when I was was young but couldn’t
