ok, nerd moment.

So, Sunday's boss fight, specifically 2nd phase, does give some information about how Aeons ascend — or at least the process of Ascension. In particular, the idea of "The Embryo" where Sunday was actually close to Ascension and like with every Aeon that ascended recently, caused a major event with his ascension. We know that most ascensions if not all have an event accompanying it — Xipe's caused mass assimilation and Nanook's caused planetary destruction and Sunday's would have brought the SweetDream Paradise (Eternal Slumber)

so that's neat. We just stopped an Aeon from ascending and the worst part is — Sunday had no clue he was ascending, it wasn't his intention to.

So like what if the emanators were like straight up eldritch horrors with features of their aeons?

so like a proper example is Phainon looking like he’s made of stone and cracking when he is flame reaver, much like nanook looks like stone has a giant crack on THEIR body… and other slightly dismembered parts but it’s fine!

the only reason i believe that he still looks fairly normal is because one, he is a simulation turned real and two, is meant to both be and oppose the destruction, leaving him in limbo.

so what about other emanators?

I am convinced that Sunday isn’t exactly normal after nearly ascending (I mean who would be) so he’d probably be an order emanator. I feel like he would have puppet strings/mechanical parts (whether he is controlling or the one being controlled is unknown) (he won’t tell anyone). We also see his thorns, he can use them to control others if he wishes, some say they see them growing out of him, others say they control him as much as they control others

as he is halovian I think his halo can look like a crown if he wants to, i also think due to the very religious parts of Sunday’s story and how ena is shown to have eyes surrounding THEIR body that Sunday has eyes that can open on his wings, his halo and just in the air, people who have been gazed by these eyes cannot describe the feeling properly, only that it feels so indescribably wrong afterwards. Abnormally, he also shares features of a harmony emanator, sometimes parts of his arms come off like jigsaw pieces, he doesn’t actually mind this happening, no one knows why that is though.

emanators of fuli no longer feel the cold. They tend to look like you’re seeing them from the past, present and future all at once and you always get a sense of déjà vu around them, even if you’ve never met them before… right? They have crystals growing out of their skin and if you happen to look in one you may see a fragment of your past or future, this is not recommended though, as seeing your own future brings nothing good to oneself. These emanators have a perfect memory of anything that has ever happened to them, to an uncanny degree, if you told them what you had to eat exactly 134 days ago they will remember, this coincides with their ability to perceive time perfectly. They always know the exact second of the day, week, month, even year that it is.

I saw you sahsr post and it was super interesting :D

What paths do you think the players path(fate) would like... intersect/subsume if it were really in the game, for me i think if the harmony hadn't consumed it, our path would've gobbled up ena's path, maybe even terminus hm...

Omg, thank you!! 😭💖 I LOVE this question because the player’s Path would be such a wildcard! If our Path were in the game, I totally agree—it would’ve clashed HARD with Ena’s and maybe even subsumed it.

Terminus too? YES, 100%. If you think about it, our ability to manipulate fate would mess with the whole life-death-rebirth cycle that Terminus embodies.

Maybe, we could interest the Aeons with our otherworldly presence and they were like, "Yeah, you’re a little too powerful. Join us, or else. 😊"
