I accidentally gave myself Plot Bunnies.

I'll be working up a new ML fic that's modeled loosely after Dogsbody, my favorite book by Diana Wynn Jones.

In the ML version, Adrien is framed for stealing a powerful celestial artifact, and sentenced to lose his divinity and live out his final days as a mortal cat on Earth.

But he runs into a lot of bad luck as he tries to prove his innocence and find the real culprits. Not the least of which is being a perfectly ordinary, nonspeaking, helpless kitten...

Good thing there's Marinette.

Seabunnies

Ah dear. One of my fic ideas has clawed its way back to the surface and is trying to displace the other two that were scrabbling for dominance in my brainpan.

And lemme tell you, this sly bugger has CLAWS and is hella smug.

He wants to know how many of you want an Adrienette/Ladynoir fic where a demonic sea serpent tries to lure a medicine witch with his charms. Be forewarned, this is not a completely happy fic, as the townsfolk are barely tolerable of a witch, let alone one spotted cavorting with the satan of the sea.

But have you ever seen an angry sea demon?

Anyway it clawed its way back up from the WIP pocket I stuck it in 17 months ago.

Who wants me to start writing? (The Seasnake demands I ask with all his oily black wiles.)

ML AU time?

I want to wriiiiiite. And I think I've narrowed it down to which of my bajillion Miraculous Ladybug fics I'm ready to tackle.

Is anyone in the mood for a rather angsty post-S2 AU where everything about the Peacock Miraculous does NOT follow canon (I started this fic outline in the S1 Hiatus so it does not match up with S2/S3 Mayura). The main plot is that Ladybug has been defeated, Chat Noir is... not doing well, Adrien is a wreck, and there's an unknown blue bird hovering in his shadow. And Gabriel is up to some alternative shenanigans...

This will be an angsty fic as it basically starts with the Bad Ending then gets Very Much Worse. But with plenty of Hurt/Comfort in between and a... Not Bad Ending?

So... who wants it?

(Please note I haven't even watched the finale yet because I'd rather write angst than watch it, heh.)

The Plotbunnies! (Foxes?)

Oh no. They've struck. I was thinking, gosh. I need to try writing some nice DJWifi fluff. But like, what. School dating isn't really my genre, and I dunno what to hit for an aged-up AU. So I was thinking, "hey, I'll ask Tumblr."

But then. In they come, crashing through my nice, quiet polylining session. They would have decimated the stairs I just digitized if they'd been on a digital plane rather than my mental screen.

Shadows Price Prequel. (Shadows Price is still in outline form, Bunnies, wth. A preqel before the planned fic? Does that make it a sequel now?)

But. It's a damned good idea. ...if the bunnies would hand me some plot points, I can give y'all how Nino and Alya got together prior to Shadows Price, and give a peek into the world that's set in. (Feudalistic pre-miraculous-stones AU with demons and unbonded gods, anyone?) I mean. That demons and gods exist is going to be a surprise to Marinette in SP, but it doesn't HAVE to be a surprise for y'all...

The plot bunnies are pleased with themselves. Even though all they've handed me is a torn piece of notepaper with "Nino/Demon!Alya Fluff" and "Oblivious Marinette."

What do I even call this one... How about... "Tricksters Call"

Plotbunnies: Decay or Revival

Y'all. I'm about to straight up murder the fandom, please order several cases of chalk and raise bond for me.

I have a bad habit of conjuring angsty plotlines, and @overworkedunderwhelmed said something that tripped pieces of a fic I was on the fence about into place. Dear lord. I thought Pulling Stitches was going to be my angst masterpiece. At least it's 40% fluffy slice of life in its Dystopia With Permanent Consequences.

This? THIS. Dear lord. Omg. I'm going to erase the existence of hope itself before the AU is through.

Hope y'all want a mess of lovesquare with lotsa hurt, a dash of comfort, some ust, a kwami swap, and OH CRAP DID HE JUST (yes. Yes he did.)
