Everytime I see your artwork I'm very stunned at how realistic it is. I don't know how many times I had to look twice to see that it was in fact a paiting. That's why I'd like to know how long have u drawn and what do you love the most about Destiel?
Oh, gosh. I don’t know how to answer the second half of this question so I’ll start with the first half and work my way to it.
First, thank you, that’s so sweet of you to say. I don’t expect photorealism when I’m making art, but I’m always happy if I can get the characters as accurate as possible while still throwing some of my own flair in there.
I have drawn my entire life. I was always kind of obsessed with trying to capture the things I was seeing (not to imply that I was a savant or anything, cuz I sure am not lol. I just liked to draw and I was obsessed with capturing expressions (I still am...) From... as soon as I could hold a pencil to now with a brief (8-year) hiatus after 18 where I don’t think I drew a damn thing.
Which I think is what brings me to the answer to your second question: My favorite part about destiel is the love; love is an abstract concept most accurately captured with expression, and through it. It’s pain, and sorrow, and joy, and fullness-- it’s everything. Dean and Cas are all of those things too. Together, they’re like magic to my brain.
Thank you for the question!
