🌓 : Nils Frahm - Talisman
Le plus grand représentant de la musique ambient moderne est désormais attendu à chacune de ses sorties. Voici la suite de l’EP Encores 1 paru l’année dernière, privilégiant une approche acoustique et minimaliste de la musique de Nils Frahm. Sur cette suite, les couleurs sont plus variés, allant jusqu’aux sons de synthèse. Les deux premiers morceaux qui ouvrent l’EP, sont assez classiques, les bonnes surprises concernent la face B, avec ce Talisman, magnifique pièce sonore lancinante, d’une intégrité quasi religieuse, digne d’une BO de film de Terrence Malik. La conclusion est quant à elle beaucoup plus rythmée, des arpégiators ouvrent la voie à une mélodie énergique, claire et positive. Un EP déjà indispensable.

The biggest representative of modern ambient music is now expected on each of his releases. Here is the sequel to Encores 1 EP , which was released last year, emphasizing an acoustic and minimalist approach of Nils Frahm's music. In this sequel, the colors are more varied, going as far as synthetic sounds. The first two tracks that open the EP, are quite classic, the good surprises are on the B side, with this Talisman track, beautiful sounding thumping sound piece, with an almost religious integrity, worthy of a movie soundtrack by Terrence Malik. The conclusion is much more rhythmic, arpegiators pave the way for an energetic melody, clear and positive. An already indispensable EP.
