Right so...really quick update, we will be getting back to session posts soon, but this Session was too much not to give a quick share.
We have been racing to get ahead of our enemy Queen Cecilia for the past few sessions now, frantically searching for other Novus Designs. A friend of ours from the Clasp had once let slip he knew where one of them was, or rather, who was rumored to have it. He obtained some information that he passed on to us about one of the Clasp leaders in Westrun was moving to steal this artifact from another Clasp leader in Emon.
Through some further digging and some shady deals with some individuals looking to stab both leaders in the back, we got the location of the artifact and decided to case the joint, agreeing to wait until the Westrun leader had gone in and had gotten past any traps or guards for us. Then, if we were lucky, both leaders would end up in the same place and we could off them at the same time.
We went in when we saw that a window had been forced open.
We were told that the artifact was in an underground bunker.
The map was completely blacked out when we started. The howls of frustration from our team could be heard around the world. We had to inch through this map, one hallway at a time, checking for traps around each corner and unlocking every door. It was a nightmare.
The shit-eating grin on @its-okay-to-yowz ‘s face was too much to bare.
Imagine if we had chosen a different path. We would have been there for hours.
