gonna go early vote today if the line isn't long and tomorrow otherwise so I'm here to remind all my US peeps that early voting is a thing!! get it done now so if you suddenly get sick on election day or have some other emergency you can still make your voice heard!

I know everyone already knows this but it's a midterm and the chances of Republicans doing well are high because Democrats and other liberals will be complacent and not bother voting. GO VOTE. Even if you're not voting on the specific issue you're concerned about (I wish I could vote for abortion rights but it is simply not on my ballot), vote for people up and down the ticket who either support your rights or at least aren't actively trying to take them away. It's your state representatives who make the laws on a lot of these issues, not federal reps.

I’ve re-watched this scene too many times to ignore this.

Kryptonite is made out in the show like it’s the only reason there’s a rift between Lena and Kara, but it’s not. As much as we spent an entire episode insisting that Kara wants to redeem/liberate the human side of the Worldkillers, it’s clear from this dialogue that at this point she’s solely focused on defeating Reign. The show in general moves from Kara-and-Sam-centric (hello 3x05) to Supergirl vs. Reign, but Lena just wants to help her friend get better. Over time, we see Kara Danvers appear less and less in the show until she’s essentially Supergirl in a braid and glasses. Lena, on the other hand, is so focused on saving Sam that she, too, is losing touch with her human side, absorbing herself in science. Without each other to remind them of what it means to be human in their own way, they are lost.

So where were the kombucha dates and brunches (and couch scenes) when they both needed them so desperately?
