Led by Light has become one of the few fics that I’ll always treasure close to my heart, it felt warm amd extremely sweet, even the more angsty parts held so much beauty, i can see myself going back to it several times in the future, the way you portrayed both remus and sirius was wonderful and very powerful. I definitely fell in love with this story and with your writing in general, you are one truly talented being. All my love to you

I had to take a momentary step back from this ask because genuinely, it did bring tears to my eyes. I'm not lying when I say words like this mean so much to me, and let me (try to!) explain to you why.

I have been a reader in fandom for decades, since I was a teenager. I have dabbled in some public writing here and there (mostly RPGing back in the days of LJ, where my oldies at!), but for the most part, I have just devoured fic as a reader, and kept my own work to myself.

Reading incredible fic is a joy. As a reader, my thought process has been, for the most part: "I love this, maybe I love this more than actual books, because it's everything that I want to read that I somehow can't find on a library/bookshop shelf, because it speaks to my desires and my experiences of the world and what's better, it involves characters I care very deeply about". What's more, the amount of talent to be found in fandom is... outstanding. And it's all free? How lucky we all are. How lucky I am to be able to glimpse into your amazing imaginations that just seem so... limitless.

Anyway. In the middle of last year, in this hellish pandemic, I decided that enough was enough and I wanted to share a little bit of my own imagination that I had always been too scared of showing, because this fandom is already fit to bursting with the most incredible talent, and who am I to stand shoulder to shoulder with these amazing writers? I still think that, honestly. I am still very new.

But then once I got started, the joy I felt when writing became absolutely limitless. And then people like yourself have started interacting with my little fics and it gives me the confidence to continue onward, to keep trying, to find more imagination, to have fun with it.

So - thank you. Thank you for loving my work. You have no idea how much it means to me.

I haven’t played The Sims Medieval in quite a long time, but my need for adventure and pirates after playing Uncharted 4 has me revisiting it.😀 These screenshots of the King were cracking me up, and somehow the Guild Emissary still thinks the King is cool even though he sent his parrot to attack her.😂 Also, here’s a screenshot of my spy - currently she’s constantly getting arrested and failing at her tasks which then makes her fail even more because she’s cranky and her focus is too low lol.

#i just watched a conference video and mind is utterly blown by these set of new features #and just at how the engineers worked on it #i already know i have a really bad case of imposter syndrome #but my goodness do i feel noob af right now #but it also makes me want to work extra hard to be better #it just feel sad in reality = this isn't as feasible in practice #and the question of 'when will i become better?'#do i become an expert without even realizing?#but do i feel nooby af? yes #am i envious of engineers whose brains are full of knowledge #can i directly inject some of that into my brain lol #end ramble

Sometimes I wonder if Mark decided to bring Darkiplier back and do it properly after he saw the major success Jack had with implementing Anti and was like "hmmmmm better jump on that there hype train" Or better yet if Jack fucking texted him not long after the Anti hype started getting huge and was like "BRUUUUUUUHHHHH YOU GOTTA TRY THIS SHIT" 😂
