I think dumping an endbringer into a verse is a funny way to push character development and au shenanigans. everyone has to stop what they're doing and deal with the world ending kaiju they may or may not have context for or the ability to deal with. but by definition they can't be beaten back. but also some verses deal with that better mentally. some.... don't
