Do you believe that people can change, and that people that used to be close can reconnect even after hardship and heartbreak?

Yes, i believe people can change. Actually, i believe that people are constantly changing, i believe that you are never quite the same person that you were yesterday. I also believe that people never change completely, i see the change as more of just applying a new coat of paint, the old paint is there, just under the new color. With this said, i do think that people who have fallen away from each other can make the reconnection. It may not be as smooth of a relationship as it used to be, seeing that each person is wearing a new color that is unfamiliar to the other, but the old is still in there somewhere and will never completely go away.
