been taking long walks lately in-between study sessions so my brain doesnt melt inside my brain, and honestly its been really nice for connecting to my enderman kintype. something about wandering around, not quite lost but not quite sure of my bearings either, taking note of the people and the animals around me, observing but never interacting. im particularly enjoying learning about the local birds, trying to identify them by sound and paying attention to their territories and habits. my favorite for keeping track of are the Common Swifts, because they fly constantly and are always moving. so i take note of the local flocks (of which i believe are like 5-7), where they are and how many they are. not for any sort of study, just for my own enjoyment. its really nice :]

sadly i havent been feeling my phantom limbs as much lately, only my always-present envisage/phantom wings, sometimes a tail swaying behind me while i walk if im lucky. i know theyll be back eventually but i cant help but feel a bit... empty. human. it sucks :[

also currently playing unreasonable amounts of Minecraft as a way to cope with being in an enderman shift most of the time & i feel so bittersweet every time i see a fellow there
