Its been like.
A full hour of waiting.
The class likely killed Loki by sending them out of the tree, yes, they’ve worked that out, but nothing has happened since then. The colors of the energy rapidly dimmed after the first five minutes, but besides that, its just been...eerily quiet.
Really, the only fun thing anybody has gotten to do is just beat the living crap out of a deserving Petra, who hilariously just acts the same way she always had, even with her secret out.
They could have all been gods, but chose a better life than that.
Another half of an hour passes before the rumbling of a train can be heard. By now, you know exactly what that means.
The ride is here. Sei and her train-possessing father crawl to a full stop in mid-air at the hole made in the wall, and the class doesn’t hesitate to approach. Sei seems surprised that all of you made it to the end of this alive, but makes to effort to start any conversation.
Her face is...tired, instead. It was very tiring, after all, blasting everything this world could offer at the Yamiki. She confirms it for the students, though. They did it. The Yamiki is dying now, and reports of living bodies being discovered are everywhere. Some people have sustained injuries due to where they woke up, but most of the rational spirits have been mobilized to prevent that. In Japan, at least, when everybody was absorbed, they were in bed. The goal for everybody right now is to make sure those beds are as clean as they can be.
So, AI-Sho was right. Killing the tree really did bring everybody back. Will it bring back the classmates they’ve lost as well?
