Winds of Fate
"INSOLENT--" Was the last words Loki ever spoke to the kids he had tortured for so long, as the spectral, animal form of Billy Ray the Mullet-Ostrich found proper footing deep into the faceless foe’s rib-cage. "Yes!” Pauwau expressed her small victory in a shout, turning back to watch what the others were doing to resist the might of a literal g-d. Tomoe found himself, due to a certain voice in his head, standing up. Somehow, even the cynic has found a purpose to keep going.
“Fight Tomoe! Rise!" Pauwau shouts from their small distance, happy and excited to see the guy finally grow a spine. Its at that point, she was distracted enough to let Loki's arm morph into a blade, as it stabs entirely through Billy Ray, unraveling the string creation.
Pauwau falls, but is clearly more concerned for the familiar she’s surprisingly grown attached to. “No!!” Minako rummages through her pockets for anything and pull out the green gem from a long time ago- and smashes it.
And at the same time, Tomoe pushes his hands forward, dealing a powerful gust of wind, picking up the rest of Pauwau’s string, Minako’s knives, the shards of green gem, and any other debris created from the battle, right for the enemy.
Maybe it was just a gem, Minako thought, until the shrapnel of the green jewel, in mid-air, suddenly begins to grow and shake. Vines shoot out of the small sections, and coupled with the direction of the wind, push and shoot Loki directly to the wall opposite of the party.
And he crashes through it. You can hear their screams growing distant, weaker, and more despairing as the sound of cracking branches and leaves gets ever softer.
Did the class just kill a g-d?
