#yesyoucan I've been THROUGH so much these past 3 years that I'm surprised how far I've come in such a short period of time.... so I BELIEVE THAT WHAT YOU TRULY BELIEVE IN, IS POSSIBLE FOR YOUR LIFE. I normally don't lose my cool like this, but I just have to let this out...

That banker named Christian seriously pissed me off tonight. If you hate Jordan you're entitled to that opinion, bash his personality if you want to, but don't bring jobs into this. Modeling IS a job, it's an art form, and as a creative, aspiring voice actor I took serious offense when he said he had a 'real job' as a banker and basically demeaned modeling as a job. So I was more than pleased when Jordan gave him a big 'Fuck You,' because I would've done the exact fucking same.

Friends, if I’m honest, I’ve been feeling crazy discouraged lately. Last week was just tough, but January has left me feeling just generally discouraged: my jewellery work has been at an almost stand-still for the entire month as I spend most of my time wrangling freelance design projects that have gone into hella overtime or that have changed creative direction so many times that it’s snuffed the creativity right out of them (design by committee = THE WORST...) I’ve been bogged down with so much admin work and financial planning that it’s felt like another job. There’s been some high points too (Lots of yoga! Eating well! Catching up on sleep! Returning to dance!) but the month came and went and I’m feeling a bit like I have nothing to show for it other than feeling a little less than myself. Anyway. Onwards I guess. Voting still feels nerdy. Whatever that means. Voting is part of a broken system. There’s less energy in voting than say marching or protesting. 12/10/17• Rant of the day: Browsing Instagram, and what do I see? What is this appear to be? Ah yes, make up brushes! - Anything out of the ordinary about them? Are they made of gold? Do they do some sort of magic? -- Apparently so, because the entire set costs $350! Absolutely INSANE! Just b/c some "celebrity" places them out in their "cosmetic" line ... I'm sure a bunch of idiots will be waiting on this one once it becomes available this week.. B/c they "have to have it" , and "omg it's so much better than the rest" -- Umm, no thanks!
