I’m really hoping endorathewitchwriter is okay.
I was looking at a post I’d reblogged from them and noticed their account marked ‘deactivated’. Usually if a post originates from an account that changes names, the old ‘deactivated’ name stays on the post but the ‘source’ at the bottom has their new name, but the source was just ... gone.
Entering their blog’s site address just leads to tumblr’s automatic “there’s nothing here” page.
The possibilities popping up in my mind are 1) they left tumblr for personal reasons; 2) their account was hacked and deleted; 3) someone on the staff decided to delete that account; 4) some kind of error; 5) the way the posts react to the post-source changing names has been changed; 6) an abstract and unarticulatable ‘something bad’ has happened.
EDIT: @endorathewitchandawriter, assuming they’re the same person (the blog looks the same as I remember it), seems to be okay! It probably was a glitch in how tumblr handles deactivated names.
