26. What tropes does your OTP fall under?
Enemies to Lovers is a big, obvious one. Battle Couple, Mutual Pining, Everyone Can See It as a couple. They have a bit of that Opposites Attract/Uptight Love Wild/Sunshine and Grump energy, too. Endrali is Badass Adorable and Good is Not Soft and Arcann is The Atoner, additionally.
27. What made you start shipping them?
So fun story with them: The only reason, originally, I was gonna have Endrali romance Arcann was because she was single. xD And I follow several people who love him and enthusiasticlly romance him, so it was sort of a "let's see what the fuss is about" attitude at first. And then I started really thinking about it. I love Redemption and Restoration arcs. Absolute sucker for 'em, eat it up every time. And of course Endrali, who redeemed all the plagued Masters, who redeemed Parkanas Tark, who redeemed Syo Bakarn, would look at Arcann Tirall and see the seed of potential redemption, no matter how small and burned and buried(under all the Atrocities and freezing her in carbonite etc etc), and go
And ofc in the end it's less her "fixing" him and more her believing Senya's claims of good in him, letting her take him to try, letting him leve from the Shrine of Healing so he could work on himself, trusting him when he came back and offered allegience. And of course Arcann fell for her; she's incredibly kind, with this quiet confidence in her abilities that doesn't cross into arrogance but knows what she can do, she extends friendship unreservedly but doesn't push. And his devotion to her, how much he values her trust and how far he would go to protect her.... I love it. It's gotten to a point where I don't just ship them(And ship them HARD), I ship Arcann/Consular in general bc his romance fits so well with the themes of the class story.
So I guess you could say I absolutely see what the fuss is about now. 😂😂😂
