More Whirlpool Galaxy Freaks! We have Uncle Crusty as a xirsian and Soljah as an endrocyte!
initially i struggled with how to make Crusty’s helmet work on a xirsian head, so i gave him fancy horn caps instead!
most of the Freaks i’ve alien-ified so far are Soldier-based, really shows where my priorities are huh?

endrocytes are an amphibious, leech-like race that feed primarily on the blood of large fauna. They're a monosex species and have zero concept of gender. they evolved from a prey species and are able to survive being eaten, as most of their natural predators swallow their prey whole their homeworld is a small-ish planet with one giant supercontinent surrounded by ocean and very small ice caps the planet is about Venus distance from their host star, and as such it's pretty hot there the planet's single landmass has tropical, swampy jungles around the coasts (where the endrocytes primarily live) and the climate gets more and more harsh and arid and the fauna more dangerous the further inland you go basically Space Australia it goes Coastal beach->swampy jungle->humid grassland and endocyte cities->arid savannah->desert->wasteland desert the center of the continent is so harshly hot and dry not even specialized flora like cacti can survive there

endrocytes lack any bones, and any skeleton they do have is cartilage. their fingers have no skeletal structure and are just muscle, so they can bend any which way, even backwards!
