Offering their drink
Looking over at the stranger a bit confused, Keith decided to trust them. The man did help him just now. Reaching for the canteen of water, the young man drank.

he was silent and still as he could be, tucked carefully behind one of the corners of the castle- one close to terra’s room, and that was no accident. he’d gotten up earlier than usual, just to make sure his friend wasn’t alerted by the sound of his shoes against the floor, or, in case ven knocked the wooden keyblade he’d been gifted against the ground once or twice. he’d given himself time to find a position.
finally, he heard the sounds of footsteps in the hall. he crouched, standing on the balls of his feet. as soon as he saw the head of brown hair peak around the corner, he jumped, swinging the blade. “ hyaa! ”

With diplomatic meetings bound to begin any day now, nobles from across the kingdom travelled to the capital to take part in the important discussions and decisions being made there. The trek from her duchy to the castle was thankfully not a long one, but Aqua dreaded it all the same. As a ward of the Duke’s, her standing was nowhere near as high as it would be if she were his daughter by blood. As such, she was required to attend the dances and social gatherings, but was not privy to the political goings-on of the kingdom.
So it stood to reason (though not to proper court manners) that Aqua would be leaning against a column in the hallway, in an attempt to subtly listen in on the meeting occurring in the room just on the other sie of the door. Servants were too busy bowing shallowly to her as they passed to pay heed to her intentions, and so she let her guard down. Which inevitably led to her mind wandering, which resulted in the door swinging open before she could register that the meeting had been adjorned.
Scampering back as gravcefully as possible, Aqua smoothed her skirts and made an attempt to regain composure. As if she were simply waiting for the Duke.
She knew very well she was fooling no one, but maybe if she was confincinv enough she would be let off with a warming?
