“I didn’t think you’d be back so quick.” A small chuckle passed his lips, well he really was quite the puppy though it wasn’t generally a positive term. Though it did git quite well, he was a little too energetic sometimes but it felt just right to him. Though he wasn’t quite sure while to take this female, after all he wasn’t the best when it came to dates. Perhaps it was just impulse of him asking, but he would surely find something to do with her. And with that thought he took her hand. “Did you have anywhere in mind?”

“well i don’t know this place as well as you would, after all you’ve been training here for a while haven’t you, so you must know the city?” aqua raised an eyebrow with her question, “you do know the city right zack?” her arms crossing over each other, “i heard from ven that there’s these things called gyros and they’re apparently really good??”

A heavy sigh passed the male’s lips, he had been training though there was a reason for it. After all a beautiful woman had ‘sort of’ promised him a date if he became a hero. Though there wasn’t any real progress on that front, but he wasn’t too discouraged by such a thing. After all, this hard work would be good for him in the long run. Finishing his set of squats he heard the sound of footsteps, quickly he looked up to see who it was. And at the sight it brought a quick smile to his face.

“Aqua!? What brought you back here?”

“it’s obvious isn’t it? i did PROMISE that date didn’t i?” She chuckled at his energetic response, zack was like a puppy or more beastial animal of some sort, it had it’s own charm and uniqueness. Especially with how much pride the male put into his job. holding out her hand for him to take it. “why don’t you take me to the city? it seems like it’d be fun.”

“well we could make it about settlers before the colonies, given that we’re focusing on that era, start from what we can with the native americans, and work our way from there to colonial era.” she leaned back in her seat trying to think of other ideas. “or we could do something on roanoke, given the mystery that still surrounds that colony.” her brain had been on way too long already with all the work between the science and english department for finals, and the history final was rougher, or at least bound to be.

“Doing the best i could to find my own sense of freedom; and figuring out what that meant to ME. you’re a good soldier zack, your words helped me with finding the freedom that i wanted, and about that date you offered from back then, if it’s still on the table i’d be happy to accept.” the master waited for his response, aqua still had much on her plate probably more than the first time they met but, some R&R is still a good idea.

I normally don’t do this but here’s a little psa before I loose my mind. Saying that someone is intimidating as a role player is NOT a compliment. For many it can be a slap in the face or it can even make them feel bad about their writing. Saying that someone is intimidating isn’t a good thing. Honestly when I hear the word intimidating there’s not a positive way to think of it. Stop telling role players that they’re intimidating. It just makes them not want to write because if everyone think’s they’re too intimidating to write with then they’ll more than likely not want to role play. It’s not a compliment. It’s the same thing as walking up to someone on the play ground and saying, “I really like you but because I like you I’m not going to play with you.” Does that make any sense at all? I hope it does.
