amie, you are one of the most amazing people i have ever known. when i first met you, shay and i wondered whether you liked us or not. it was like this big mystery that we had to find out. i wish i was joking... it was this whole thing.  does she? does she not? does she? trust me, if we had a flower we would have used that. though we didn't have to. spoiler alert: (as though you need to be spoiled) you did. you do. you have this thing where you just like everyone. you're so non-judgmental. it's kind of insane just how much. god, you're so kind... and wonderful. you have one of the biggest hearts of anyone i know. it’s like you’re the opposite of the grinch... and i guess that would probably make me him, but that’s beside the point. you're ridiculously talented. i could go on and on about the great writer you are, but you already know how i feel. i’m sure i’m speaking for most people when i say you’re fucking inspirational at it.  it's completely true though. you're so great with words. some people's soulmates might be other people but i'm a firm believer that yours just might be the pen. you're already accomplishing so much and this is just the start. I can't wait to see what you become. just know I expect a very specialized signed copy of whatever it is you do. i don't make the rules okay...  i love you so much, buddy! <3 -leAnn

A long drawn out yawn spilled from her lips. It was well after midnight for her and their time difference was taking a toll on her. Sure, they'd been doing this every so often for months but it still made her exhausted after a long shift at the diner. Except that wasn't the case this time. “Well, I'm going to get some sleep. I'll text you sometime tomorrow,” Dani smiled over the phone, trying to maintain a semblance of casualness. 'I love you' weighed on her tongue but those were words that only drunkenly spilled as of late. Boundaries were inadvertently crossed, though love wasn't their problem and they knew that. Not even then regardless of who filled their beds. “Night...” With her duffle bag slung over her shoulder, she stuffed her phone in her pocket and wandered down the hall. It took a moment to get where she needed to be. Maybe a few because she was actually drained from the four-hour flight. But she was excited too as she gently knocked on the door until it opened. “Hey, lindinha.” @endurexsurvive

bella was drunk. she was stoned. she was not thinking so clearly. they were in a better place. they were friends again. it had been months since they'd touched each other like that. bella could still remember that day-- the way the other girl had been nestled between her thighs. they were in her kitchen but food was the last thing that was getting eaten. bella had been ridden with feelings. but now, it was just a need. any other girl in that bar would have been a better choice. any guy, too. no, she'd instead stole her beautiful mesmerizing ex-girlfriend away. the fact that they were doing well slipped into her mind as she pulled the other in the bathroom. there were a few other girls washing their hands as she stared at becca. between the music and everything in her system-- she was completely lost in her gaze. feeling airy and nice, she gave a playful roll of her eyes. water continued to fall from the faucets. makeup was being done. could they take any longer? “damn, sorry,” she mouthed, with a wry smile. @endurexsurvive

Susie couldn't study in her room. She tried the lounge a few times. The library was the last place she wanted to be at this hour. There were no weird flickering lights. She wasn't scared to walk down each and every aisle. It was the walk back to her dorm that she dreaded the most. Her stomach was in knots at the mere thought. Bright blues searched around her for a familiar face-- even someone that she'd shared one class with Freshman year. The latter actually worried her more so instead, she found the one person that got under her skin the most. Naturally, she could smell the cigarette smoke once she stood beside her. At least, she was fully dressed the last time they spoke. That didn’t mean Susie hadn’t become acutely aware of her in passing.  “Are you almost finished,” she groaned, wanting to be anywhere else. “You're probably the last person I want to ask this, but since I'd rather not be abducted by some perverted man and then raped and murdered... Will you walk with me back to the dorms?” @endurexsurvive

Reagan was plenty thankful that Joey was having a sleepover with his friends that night. With her husband off discussing business, that left her to nurse her glass of eggnog and rum. Naturally, that didn't imply she hadn't spoken with some of his colleagues and their wives because she had. She could charm the pants off of just about anyone. But after it was all said and done, she really just wanted to be home. She could put on a pair of pajamas with a carton of ice cream. All the while, she'd inevitably pretend that her husband had touched her at some point in the last couple of months. Spoiler alert: he hadn't. When he had-- it wasn't like he'd finished. She didn't know whether to be insulted or terribly indifferent. It's that reason she'd begun searching elsewhere. Only elsewhere wasn't supposed to be mere inches from her. She nearly choked on her drink at the sight of the other woman. In hindsight, this should have been predicted considering it was a holiday party with rich businessmen and women alike. Still, Reagan hadn’t expected to see the escort again; especially so soon. Shoulders peaked. Her posture became a lot less lax. She needed a lot more to drink. “Not to be that person, but what the hell are you doing here?” @endurexsurvive

Emma watched as one of the teacher's flirted with him. It was a little pathetic if you asked her. The way she desperately hung over Nic, it made her want to barf. Truly. And maybe she would because the woman was easily old enough to be his mother. Sure, she would have had to be a teenager but the thought stood the same. God, why was she laughing so loudly? She had no idea why she was just sitting there-- sulking in the stands. She was a few rows back, watching the basketball game. She'd promised one of the students if she did well on her German test, she'd be there. But now her attention was on him. They were friends, that's what she told herself. She was just looking out for him against the piranhas. When the elder woman left, inevitably for the concessions, she scooted down on her ass until she sat next to him. “She's cute-- old but cute,” she commented, gently tossing a nudge his way. @endurexsurvive

Cameron clung to her glass of water. Stress radiated from her. That smile that could normally be seen from space was nowhere to be found. Since everything had come to head with her bio dad and mother, she was at a complete loss. She had another semester left-- and there was no way in hell she'd be able to come up with the money before it began. When she'd cut her parents out of her life she hadn't thought things through. Had she, there was no way she'd have allowed herself to survive on Top Ramen for the last couple of weeks. But at least there was Renn, her one sliver of joy. She didn't necessarily know where they stood these days. Uncertainty seemed to be a common theme in her life, but God did she look gorgeous as ever.  She was never one to beat around the bush. No time was wasted when the older woman sat opposite her. “Missed your face, Hadley,” she admitted, hating that she'd barely seen her since summer. “And ass...”  @endurexsurvive

Jemma had never been the biggest drinker. Of course, she didn't go without entirely. Her preferences were just of something else entirely. Marijuana was always more up her alley but her girlfriend couldn't stomach the stench of it. She bitched at Jemma about how it was in every article of clothing she owned and the bedding. So eventually the petite woman just got rid of it all. She donated it on a whim and started from scratch. Having a lot of money and being a minimalist worked out well. Cradling her beer, she looked the part in the bar. She didn't look nearly as out of place as she felt. This wasn't her scene. She didn't fit in with undergrads and certainly not graduate students. She fit with the elite but this was a different ballpark. Still, she'd gone because it was her way of showing her support except her girlfriend wasn't around. And she was almost awkwardly standing out of place. Her eyes roamed around the bar. She felt too old and she was. Well almost considering she was twenty-two. But she'd been away from the school atmosphere for so long it was in rear view mirror. Not quite like the brunette that her eyes landed on. “Sara,” she called out, as though it had been ages since they'd seen one another. Like they were strangers.
