Misdirected [Open // Mages Only]
Takane wanted to visit the Mage Guild ever since her encounter with the armor-clad man, but she wasn't sure if it would be for the best. She got the impression that the stranger didn't like mages, but she couldn't figure out for the life of her why that was. It did make sense that if mages misused their abilities, but since her arrival, Takane hadn't seen a single mage act in that fashion. It took her a couple days to gather up the courage to seek out the Mage Guild, and even then, all she could do was walk around the building.
Takane felt like she was back in school, refusing to put a foot forward and take a chance to meet people. It made sense to keep away from her peers, as her illness caused her to feel inferior, Haruka was the first person she didn't mind to be around. Except he isn't here.
With a shaky breath, Takane took a couple hesitant steps towards the building and knew that she would have to do this alone. At first her training was excruciating, she thought of quitting after every session. Generating a bolt of lighting once seemed nearly impossible, now it was almost second nature to the teenage girl. What she lacked was accuracy, as she had a hard time controlling where the spell would go. And today was no different.
"I'm so sorry!" She yelled across the field, after her spell took a turn to the left and nearly hit someone. It shouldn't be enough to kill, but Takane didn't want to hurt an innocent bystander. Running up to the individual her spell nearly hit, she wanted the earth to swallow her hole to hide her from her embarrassment.
"I didn't mean for it to suddenly turn, are you okay?" Slightly out of breath, she stood on shaky legs and made sure that she hadn't harmed them.
