so with the 'repeating' thing (mentioned by phnx-rosemary earlier) i found it REALLY intriguing with marjory's bit. (dont read for spoilers i guess) after doing it the first time, if you pass by again she stops halfway through and realizes 'i've said this before, havent i?' and commander says urgently 'do you remember what happens next?' and she says 'i remember .. that it hurts' or something like that ANYWAY i was almost screaming irl because the way i's said sounds like its leaning on 4th wall

I've now read "forgive us" three times because i love it and it feels - cathartic, I guess? just - the commander - and everyone - I really love it, maybe because it needs to happen in canon. thanks for sharing your writing!

Today was really nice and relaxing. Hung out w my best friend @enement and just chatted, caught up, ate clinkers, and played ACNH.

We visited each other's islands and she decorated a whole room in her house just for my birthday! It looked like an outside garden in a gentle rain amongst hydrangea bushes w mushroom seats and table. Had a huge birthday sign and birthday cake (and I blew out the candles~) and streamers on the walls. She put in so much work into my birthday room. It made me feel so special. Really great that I got to celebrate my birthday twice in ACNH.

When I got home I had a nap and did a little more of my PrepL course.

It was very nice just chilling and hanging out (I really need to make scheduled friend hangouts). I felt very Me (which I haven't been feeling for a while) and it's very reassuring to have a friend that I can rely on having the same relationship and affection level without having to worry about how much time has passed.
