Often quoted as a saying of Stephen Hawking, however there is no recorded quotation of Stephen ever saying it, but there was of Daniel J Boorstin, and so I chose his name to appear alongside it.
I’ve no doubt Stephen would have agreed with this though, the greatest danger to knowledge isn’t not knowing, it’s thinking we know it all and ignoring the evidence. There are no holy cows, but to quote another famous scientist, “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence” - Carl Sagan.
