Hey, a while ago I saw you mention different energy states. Stuff like people being energy mirrors or psychic vampires etc. Apart from psychic vampires I can't find a whole lot on other states of being energywise. I was wondering if you could give a brief overview of these energy states and how they feel when you encounter them/are one? Thanks in advance.
Sure! This is quite a fun ask for me, actually. So, as someone who has performed energy readings for many different people over the years, I can actually tell you the differences between the different energy modes from personal experience. Keep in mind that this is all going to be UPG, or unverified personal gnosis, but I'll do my best to keep the language understandable. When I encounter someone with a weird energy system, it's usually quite obvious because it will deviate in some way from what I normally see in an energy system. For example, typically, a person's energy cores don't differ much in color from another person's. That is, I view all throat centers as a shade of blue, all heart centers as a shade of green, all mind centers as a shade of purple, and so on. The energy channels are also usually colored depending on their main function. An energy channel running from the mind center to work on or with the heart center, for example, is typically a shade of purple or grey. So, when these colors deviate from what I generally encounter, that's the first sign that something is up. The next step is figuring out what that something is. I know from experience that when I encounter a rainbow of colors of what feels like foreign energy in someone's energy, I am dealing with an empath. Every time I've asked someone I was reading when I found this particular tell, I got something like, "wow, yeah I am an empath, how did you know?" When I first started noticing it, I started asking everyone if they believed themselves to be an empath or not. Overwhelmingly, in those I saw the rainbow energy close to 95% of them said "yes" and in those I didn't, about the same percentage answered "no". Many of the other energy states have similar tells. Psychic vampires and other types of energy feeders leech energy during an energy reading. They can't help it, especially when I'm right there poking their system to see what's up. If they don't outright try to feed on me, they will at least attempt to reach out to me. I find foraging a connection with a vamp or feeder to be quite easy because they naturally do half the work for me. Their system also usually contains what I and others call "feeder tendrils", which are lil ropelike wisps of energy that can reach out, latch onto, and drain a source of energy. They are typically part of the energy field. So, if I see someone with an energy field shaped like some sort of eldritch horror, it's pretty obvious to me that I'm dealing with a vamp or a feeder of some kind. They are also usually missing some part of their system, such as one or more of their energy centers, or the system is damaged in some way.
Energy chameleons have the ability to change their energy system at will, usually to match with the people around them. When I look at a chameleon's energy system, their energy tends to shimmer in a way that is iridescent. Admittedly, I have not met many chameleons to know much more than this.
Energy Mirrors have the ability to reflect the energy around them. Their energy registers as translucent and sometimes colorless. I've also not many mirrors.
Energy Suns/Generators are kind of like the opposite of a Vamp. They produce more energy than their body is able to handle and so must discharge it in a number of ways in order to function normally. They tend to run physically warmer than most people, tire less easily, but don't necessarily present as more energetic. Energy suns have systems that are literally overflowing with energy. Their energy field, unchecked, is expansive and rests far beyond the barriers of their physical bodies. They also burn energy very fast and if they don't manage the way their system works can end up in a vicious cycle of high energy and low energy, which can be quite exhausting both for the sun and the people around them. (I'm a sun, by the way.)
These are the main energy states that typically come up. There's also converters and amplifiers, but those are more abilities that are either naturally present or consciously acquired, so aren't quite the same as the rest of the modes. They don't have as drastic of effects on the energy system, either.
