[ @enflourish ;; Cruise Control for Cool (ROULETTE STARTER) ]
The night is cool and pleasant, the ocean waters rippling gently beneath the soft breeze. Gregor has only been on a proper seafaring ship like this once before— and an actual cruise ship for only a scant few minutes, the thing abandoned and left to drift the expanse of the Great Lakes. It's another thing entirely to see a boat this lively and festive, touting around things like free admissions and some kind of escape room.
It'd caught his eye and his curiosity, to say the least. All of the glitz and gold for something that proudly labelled as free is bound to be hard to overlook, let alone the stuff they're advertising. Though he must've missed some fine print somewhere. Everyone queuing up for the actual escape room event on board is in pairs and groups of three or four, small tightly knit crowds idling in a looping line to be led out to different sections of the cruise.
Well, almost everyone, save for him and a woman he's never seen before. She looks undeniably like a real combatant to his familiar eye, not someone who just does some work on the side. It takes a lot in him to not openly stare at the ears or the tail— it isn't like he particularly wants anyone looking at his arm. Only polite.
"You here for the escape rooms too, Bud?" Gregor normally isn't much of one to bother strangers, but neither of them are getting in as things stand. He sure hopes she isn't just waiting on someone.
"They're only hosting groups tonight, pretty sure." A menthol cigarette bobs between pursed lips, the thin trail of smoke whisked away by the wind. He's going to have to put it out soon— can't take that inside a ship cabin.
