Recently engaged!?? It’s time to start vendor shopping this week! First things first… get your venue and your date but after that, what’s next? Here’s a couple of ideas in the order I think you should go looking: 1. Planner - because they will help with the next steps 2. Photographer - typically only one person in their team so if they’re booked, they’re booked ( unless you book a big company with lots of associates) 3. Rentals - to make sure they still have the inventory you need 4. Flowers - to figure out look and feel before moving onto other vendors 5. Catering - these guys can probably do multiple events in a day but also book up fast because food is very important 6. Attire - need time for alterations 7. Glam squad - schedule your engagement session on same day as makeup trial 8. Signs & Invites - now that you have idea of decor in the day, these pieces tie in the whole look 9. DJ - Figure songs and timeline with them now that most details are in place! 10. Cake - last but not least!
