what I found very interesting was how louis talked about himself compared to harry in terms of „star-appeal“, when he said he was much more reserved and could appeal to different markets if he carried himself a different way - but that wouldn’t be him ... ngl I did not expect to read such well reflected passages in The Sun of all places
There was a lot of really thoughtful material in that interview (which is I guess a combination of what Louis chose to share and the decision by the reporter to have long quotes).
The bit you’re talking about I thought could mean so many different things to him. And there are so many things it could mean for him and so many associations he could be making. It made me think of the demands that he signal his sexuality in really specific and narrow ways (which is probably about my own frustrations more than anything else). But it’s a really difficult task he (and all the other 1D members have). Figure out who they are, figure out who they want to be in public, figure out how to do that, and figure out how to build a career doing that.
I think Louis is doing amazing. .
