The Avatar & The Engineer Chapter 10: Separation and Chaos

Update! Only took me six months. Apologies again for the long, long delay. I had hope to knock the rest of the Book 1 story line out with this chapter but I felt that it would be better to split it in half. Next chapter will finally see the end of the Amon story line and its onwards towards Book 2

The Avatar & The Engineer Chapter 8: Revelations

Here it is after months and months of delays, false starts, an entire chapter being scrapped and starting over, and delaying of editing the update to The Avatar & The Engineer is finally done. I hope you enjoy and I do apologize for the long gap between updates. Hopefully now that this chapter is done I can wrap up the Book 1 story line in 1-2 chapters because at this point I’m so sick of writing about Amon and the Equalists and looking forward to moving onto the Book 2, 3 and 4.

A little headcanon I’d like to share regarding Engineer! Korra as I get back to writing, as this is something which won’t be touched upon until a later chapter:

After the events revolving around Amon, the Equalists and Hiroshi Sato’s betrayal, Korra is given control of Future Industries by Asami for she herself is dedicated to being the Avatar. The work is stressful and in her alone time Korra finds herself drawn to the bottle. The only time she feels free from daily pressures is flying. For her flying is true freedom as no one can physically reach her and she can drift up to high attitudes and let her mind wander for a bit.

Oh and she loves doing low flybys over Air Temple Island. The kids get a kick out of it although Tenzin isn’t too pleased about it.
