Approximately 4 years after I first made a PVC fountain for Pepe and Nellie, the compilation of all the (successful) cat engineering projects is now available in the book Engineering for Cats. Minor life hack - been living with some mirrored closet doors that refuse to roll. The track was pretty beat up which is not surprising, the doors are heavy and ride on razor sharp metal wheels. The track was a thin flexible metal and the replacements available were $60 for the same fragile stuff. For $25 I got some aluminum corner pieces and a 1 x 4, created a new track that rolls smooth and silent
