This gate passes the vibe check... A luxury car rolls in... A luxury mansion waits... No guards. No buttons. No human input whatsoever. Just Arduino doing its thing. This is my self-made Arduino-based automatic toll gate system, built as a First Year | Sem I IoT workshop project, simple in concept, smart in execution. So here’s what’s actually happening 👇 The car and mansion are displayed on phones (yes, partly for aesthetics, partly for realism 😄). An ultrasonic sonar sensor continuously scans for nearby objects. The moment a car is detected within range, the system triggers. A motor-driven gate (represented using a long rolled paper, clean, clever, effective) opens automatically. Everything is controlled via custom Arduino logic, with a dedicated program running on the laptop to coordinate sensing and actuation. No simulations. No slides. Pure hardware + real-time sensing + actual motion. This project is a perfect example of how basic components + clear logic = real-world automation, even at a beginner level. Built it. Tested it. Watched the gate open like magic. ✨ If you’re into IoT, Arduino, or smart infrastructure, this is where it starts. Drop a comment to lmk if you’d automate this differently ❤️ Like if you enjoy smart hardware projects, and also🔁 Share with a first-year engineer who needs project inspiration... BTW...👀 Want the circuit or code? Just say the word and I've got ya...
