Our design choices for Engine Jam
Today begins the Engine Jam!
with James Stallwood and Venissa Wanick.
The idea of this engine jam was to get more work done in unity in a short period of time, unlike our seminars and workshops where we only spent 2 hours a week at a time learning a concept, this was a whole week to get something significant done.
At the end of the week we had a pretty decent prototype, and though we had movement done, due to the camera angles it was harder to navigate the platform panels than it should have been. I think if we could fix more about it i’d probably pop the camera on a fixed angle to the character, so it would look more like a square enix game.
