ONTARIO NORTHLAND RAILWAY GMD FP-7A DIESEL #1521 - ENGLEHART, ONTARIO, CANADA - MAY 25, 1980
Making a random appearance for "F-unit Friday", Ontario Northland FP-7A #1521 poses at Englehart, Ontario. She is the last of 22 F-units purchased by Ontario Northland between 1951 and 1953. She is seen wearing the old green, yellow, and red paint, which I thought was one of the best classic paint schemes to show up on F-units. Somewhere along the way, she received the "Polar Bear" herald for the Polar Bear Express, but she was kind of an oddity with two of them on there. Not sure how many F's received the herald, as a most units simply wore a removable Polar Bear emblem (on a steel plate) only when handling that train.
well thats hardly fair. plenty of those democrats are traitors too.

The southbound Northlander departs Englehart 2/21/2003
Running right on time as it takes the mainline at Englehart with a little more than a mile to go to the end of the Ramore Subdivision and the Englehart Station stop, ONT's last unrepainted GP38-2 1805 hustled the Northlander southbound. May 21, 2002
