Akahi this time!
It's been a long time since posting but! EP had its 10 year anniversary and I will be posting pieces for it!
Here is one of my soon to be many attempts on designing Juno, Vulcan & Viva's mom. It'll be her color scheme I mess with at this point since I'm happy with her face shape. The key here is to have all three characters look related but have stand alone designs (aka not be carbon copies of one another). I don't have much story wise for her. She's a warm and caring mother and that's about it. Everything else is left up to interpretation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is sorta a style/coloring experiment.
Xephora as a character has always just been "the villain", and that isn't changing but I am finally giving her a sturdy back story to her life before Engraved Prides. I won't really say much about it now, just that it both adds to and complimants Xephora as a fully flawed, structured character.
Nyx and I might be taking a break from Engraved Prides for now; we are burnt out and have found new muse through our Warriors OCs. You can find us @abunchofmurdercats
Hamilton doesn't hesitate. He exhibits no restraint. He takes and he takes and he takes and he keeps winning anyway. He changes the game. He plays and he raises the stakes. And if there's a reason he seems to thrive when so few survive, then God dammit I'm willing to wait for it. Nyx and I hopped on the Hamilton train and now I can't get specific songs out of my head; this being one of them. We kept going back and forth of who was the most Hamilton of our characters and while for the most part we agree on Viva being that, when it comes to characters that have the parallel Burr and Hamilton have Mira & Kraven take the cake. Kraven, a banished Bawa who fell into the mortal world and took it by storm during the war and eventually founding the High Elder Council to bring harmony to the land. He is young and knows what he wants and takes it. Mira, a sand cat serving under tyrants and training the next heir after his parent's assassination hears whispers from travelers and birds of a Bawa shaping the new world and she so desperate wants to leave the desert to fulfill a prophecy she's been fighting her whole life BUT she has a duty to her empire and will wait until the opportunity falls into her lap. Eventually Mira will join the High Elder council as Mira the Arcane. Her and Kraven will never get along and there have been instances where it was questioned if any assassination attempts against Kraven were orchestrated by Mira herself... This is a super sloppy sketch that I colored but I LOVE how Mira turned out. With the reconstruction of the Engraved Prides universe I've had time to really flesh out Mira's character and she is very quickly becoming one of my absolute favorites. And this is probably the best I've ever drawn Kraven and I'm happy with that.
