The whole thing with Eni is definitely going to make me do a post. When I do it is another question lol

The amount of racism and misogynoir I have seen towards her is absolutely disgusting and not warranted. Some people are also looking at this extremely one dimensionally.

You don’t have to agree with her, however, to a certain extent, I actually do. From a DEI standpoint, she has some valid points which, when I make my post will explain in more depth as to why. The execution of her comments, granted, is not good, I can admit. But her being called a diversity hire is not on and implies she was hired because of her identity not her skills, experience or qualifications.

If she is a diversity hire, then what do we call some of the male pundits that weekly talk utter crap? No constructive criticism, just bias and clear personal dislikes?

The conversation at hand has many roots many people probably have not even considered so I will try and discuss as many of them as possible when I make the post.

Annoys me no end when something in women's football makes it into mainstream sports news so men who never talk about it, never watch or cover it, suddenly talk as if they know everything about it and are in a position to offer opinions.
