AN Hope you guys had a good time this Valentine’s, it's still the 14th so let's do a cutie patootie fairy just chilling with you.
.
..
It wasn’t a grand adventure. No glowing glades. No jealous fairy rivals. No dramatic proclamations shouted into the wind.
Just you. And Sylvian. And a quiet afternoon stitched together by golden light.
You were seated beneath a wide oak, a book open in your lap, while Sylvian lay sprawled across your chest like he’d claimed the spot centuries ago. One leg lazily hooked over your collarbone, wings draped warm against your skin.
He wasn’t talking. Which, for Sylvian, meant something.
“Yes, well. Read slower. I’m trying to enjoy this.”
His fingers traced idle patterns along the fabric of your shirt — smoothing it, flattening nonexistent wrinkles. Occasionally, he would glance up at your face, violet eyes soft and unreadable in the sunlight.
“You’re breathing too fast,” he murmured suddenly. You blinked down at him. “I’m reading.”
You huffed a quiet laugh, but you did slow your breathing. He noticed immediately. Of course he did.
“You’re warm,” he said quietly. No dramatics. No sass.
Satisfied, Sylvian shifted, pressing his cheek against the steady rise and fall of you. His wings gave a contented flutter, shimmering like an orchid caught in afternoon glow.
Just fact.
His fingers found yours, tiny hand fitting between them. He laced himself there without asking, resting your joined hands over his chest like something precious being guarded.
“You know,” he continued, voice lower now, “I don’t always need spectacle. Or admiration. Or a stage.”
“Oh?” you teased gently. “That’s new.”
“Hush.” He lightly flicked your chin with a spark of harmless magic. “I said always. Not never.” Then softer — almost shy — “This is enough.”
There it was.
You didn’t answer right away. Instead, you brushed your thumb carefully along his back, between his wings. He melted instantly, a quiet, involuntary sound slipping from him as his body relaxed fully against yours.
The truth he pretended not to need.
Sylvian adored attention — yes. Adored admiration, adored being looked at like he was the most radiant thing in existence.
But what he cherished most… was this.
Stillness.
He tilted his head up suddenly, studying your face with an intensity that made your breath hitch again.
Being tucked into the center of your world without competition. Without interruption. Without anyone else to glare at or chase away. Just the two of you, stitched together by warmth.
“Don’t move,” he whispered.
“I wasn’t.”
He settled back down afterward, wings wrapping loosely around your throat like a living scarf.
“I know. I just like saying it.” He hovered up just enough to press a soft kiss beneath your jaw — tiny, careful, lingering. Then another. And another. Each one deliberate. Each one savored.
You smiled, closing your book entirely now.
“You’re mine in moments like this,” he murmured, sure of himself. “And I am yours. That’s the arrangement.”
And for the rest of the afternoon, Sylvian did nothing more dramatic than breathe with you — counting your inhales, matching your rhythm, relishing in the quiet privilege of being near and dear to the one person he chose above all seasons.
His eyes flicked down at the sound. “Good,” he said, pleased beyond measure. “You’ve chosen correctly.”
Finals are coming up SO let's say hurray to having 3/5 classes done. Sylvian was a good favorite, let's see him again.
Wanna invite me a dr pepper?
.
..
It started with a game.
You pressed a kiss to your fingers and blew it toward Sylvian across the campfire. He caught it midair with exaggerated grace, clutching it to his chest like it was a pearl dropped from the heavens.
“Ugh, you’re cruel,” he swooned, fluttering dramatically in a slow spiral. “What’s a radiant creature like me to do with such a stingy beloved?”
You only winked at him and turned your attention back to the pot you were stirring.
That was the first time.
The second, he landed on your shoulder while you were collecting herbs. He leaned close, lips practically brushing your cheek. “Surely you can spare one for me now?” he purred, eyes half-lidded with confidence.
You turned your head to "check the leaves."
And he kissed air.
“Sylvian?” you asked innocently. “Did you say something?”
He floated there, blinking, mouth slightly open like a fish out of water. Then he huffed and crossed his arms. “Nope. Nothing important. I wasn’t expecting anything from a cold-hearted tease with zero romantic timing.”
By the third dodge, you could practically feel the storm clouds forming behind his glowing wings.
He tried being subtle at first. Brushing your cheek with his fingers. Lounging across your hand like a petal-strewn prince. Stretching lazily across your pillow with his hair falling in just the right way. All of it was bait.
You didn’t bite.
At sunset, he tried the silent treatment.
He sat on a twig throne he'd conjured from magic and moss, arms folded, nose in the air. A tiny flower crown rested over one eye at a deliberately dramatic angle.
He did not speak.
You offered a berry. No response.
You complimented his wings. Nothing.
You hummed his favorite tune.
Still, silence.
For about two minutes.
"Okay, fine!" he snapped, springing to the air with a little zap of magic. “I’m giving you one last chance to fix this grievous emotional wound you’ve inflicted!”
You blinked, pretending to be confused. "Fix what?"
"FIX WHAT?!" Sylvian’s voice hit a high note birds would envy. “You haven’t kissed me all day! Not once! Do you know what that does to a fae spirit of my caliber?! I’m withering! Withering! I look like a spring crocus in November!”
You bit your lip to keep from laughing, which only enraged him further. He began pacing midair, hands flying dramatically.
"I've been patient. I’ve been charming! I even tried the silent treatment — which, let me tell you, was agony. But you — you wretched little minx — have tested the full measure of my restraint!"
Then he zipped up to your eye level, cheeks flushed violet-pink with fury and longing. He jabbed a finger at your chest.
“I demand a kiss. Immediately. This is no longer a request — it is reparations.”
You arched an eyebrow. “Reparations, huh?”
“Yes!” he growled, wings trembling. “I am a delicate being of light and affection, and I require regular maintenance! Now kiss me, you magnificent tormentor!”
And when you finally leaned in, cupping him gently in your hands and brushing a kiss to his tiny lips, he melted. Literally collapsed backward with a fluttery sigh, one hand to his forehead.
“About time,” he mumbled dreamily. “I was one denial away from writing poetry in moss blood.”
AN oh boy this one's a doozy. First and foremost- my classes need to RELEASE MEEEE. Second! As an apology for lack of work I've slowly made a Headcanon list with characters specifically from the fae Woods set of monsters! Hope you enjoy
- Sylvian vibrates when excited. Literally. His wings blur, his glow brightens, and he starts talking faster than usual. When he realizes he’s doing it, he snaps, “Stop staring, I’m enthusiastic, not unstable.”

🌸 Sylvian Headcanons
- Loves sitting in your sleeves, pockets, or collar like it’s prime real estate. Claims it’s “strategic vantage points,” but really he just likes being close to your warmth.
- Sleeps curled under your chin or in the hollow of your throat, wings tucked tight like petals closing at dusk. If moved, he wakes instantly and grumbles, “Rude. I was nesting.”
- His laughter sounds like chimes, and he hates that you love it. “Stop encouraging it! I’m trying to maintain dignity!”
- Collects shiny things, pressed flowers, and tiny trinkets that remind him of you. Keeps them in a hidden nest and pretends it’s “just clutter,” but he checks it obsessively.
- Gets territorial over space, not freedom. He doesn’t care where you go — just wants to know where he fits into it. “As long as I’m with you, I’m satisfied.”
🦋 Opal Headcanons
- When he’s happy, his wings flutter without permission. He tries to hold them still in public and fails every time you laugh.
- His antennae are extremely expressive. He cannot lie to you—if he’s excited, they perk; if embarrassed, they curl inward; if overwhelmed with affection, they tremble like they’re vibrating with light.
- He naps in strange places. Windowsills. Sun-warmed steps. Half-curled around you on a couch he swore he’d only sit on for a moment.
- He gets offended on your behalf when someone underestimates you. Calm on the outside, quietly furious moth on the inside.
- Opal learns your habits like sacred rituals: how you take your tea, where you like to sit, the way you fidget when nervous. He adjusts himself to fit you without ever making a show of it.
- He practices saying your name under his breath when he’s alone. Just to hear how it sounds. Sometimes with different tones, like he’s trying to memorize every possible way to say it.
🌊 Kelpie Headcanons
- He is violently territorial over his stretch of river. Not just the water — the mudbanks, the reeds, the stones. If something changes, he notices immediately.
- His aggression is instinct-first. He reacts before thinking, which is why first meetings are rough, snarling, physical.
- Biting is like a reflexive affection for him. He doesn’t fully understand it at first — he just knows your pulse feels right under his teeth.
- He growls when confused, overstimulated, or emotionally overwhelmed. Which… happens a lot around you.
- His mane/hair is extremely sensitive. Touching it is intimate — borderline sacred — and he only allows it once he trusts you.
- He smells emotions before he understands them. Fear, stress, sadness — it all hits him before words do.
I hope you’ve been doing well!! We’ve missed you very much and I’m here with my folder again, this time to request more of your fairy boy- perhaps something wedding themed? I’d love to see my favorite narcissist get pampered even more (I say narcissist with all the love in my heart. He’s the reason I found your blog!!)

AN BLUE welcome back always nice to eat your requests mwuah. Don't you just love imagining fae weddings, I focused more on the prep rather than the wedding itself, wanted to picture him like a busy bee before just melting at the sight of his lover.
.
..
A fairy wedding was nothing like a human one. There were no stone chapels, no polished pews, no rows of carefully folded chairs.
Instead, the forest itself had decided to host. Branches arched overhead until they wove together into a living cathedral, sunlight spilling through emerald leaves in ribbons of gold. Flowers climbed every trunk, every vine, blooming all at once as if they, too, had received an invitation.
The forest was dressing for the occasion, Sylvian insisted it was only proper. "It would be embarrassing if the woodland looked underprepared," he'd said with a dismissive flick of his hand. "Thankfully, it has excellent taste."
Naturally, he had been impossible all morning. You'd caught glimpses of him only in flashes of violet and orchid-pink as he darted through the trees.
"No, no, higher!" A swarm of tiny fairies scrambled to adjust a garland.
"The lilies belong near the spring, not beside the elder roots! Honestly, has no one studied composition?" He zipped away before anyone could answer.
Another fairy called after him in what could only be understood to you as the sound of bells and soft jingles.
"My outfit is already perfect!" He answered.
The sound continued with a huff and a cute pout from the fairy.
"...That is beside the point."
The entire grove buzzed with affectionate laughter, everyone knew their fellow flower fae. He was fussy, theatrical. He had rearranged the same cluster of flowers four times because the pink was "arguing with the moss."
But no one complained, at least not today, not when the brightest fairy in the forest looked happier than the dawn itself.
Meanwhile...
You had been quietly stolen away. "Oh, goodness..." Gentle hands guided you to a seat carved from the roots of an ancient oak. A circle of fairy attendants surrounded you, their wings humming excitedly. Again with harmonies of tunes and chimes, but being closer, you could actually make out a few words between the music.
"They're taller than I imagined."
"They're beautiful."
"Look how careful they sit!"
You smiled despite yourself. "I can hear you." A chorus of embarrassed giggles answered.
Unlike human tailors, fairy attendants didn't sew, they grew. One little fairy tucked a flowering vine around your shoulders, the buds opened immediately. Another combed their fingers through your hair, and wherever they touched, tiny blossoms unfurled. Not woven into your hair, it was almost as if they were growing from it.
Soft ferns curled behind your ears, jasmine threaded itself through loose strands, orchid petals nestled among fresh greenery, each bloom opening as though greeting an old friend.
A third fairy stepped back and gasped.
"What?" you asked, suddenly surprised. She clasped both hands over her heart, her wings slowing down and letting her fall down slowly. The others sighed dreamily aswell, the reaction making it hard to hold in a giggle from you as the blossoms framed around your face.
None of them noticed the tiny figure hovering outside the woven curtain of vines. He hadn't meant to peek, truly. He'd only wanted to check whether everything was proceeding according to his exceptionally high standards.
Just one glance, that was all. Instead... he forgot how to fly. His wings continued beating on instinct, but every thought simply... stopped.
You sat surrounded by living flowers, sunlight filtered through leaves, scattering soft patterns across your skin. Your clothes didn't look embroidered, they almost bloomed. Fresh ivy traced gentle lines along the fabric, white blossoms opening with every breath you took.
You looked... "...Oh." It was all he managed. One of the attendants noticed him first, she clapped a hand over her mouth. 'The groom's spying!'
Immediately, every fairy dissolved into delighted giggles. "I was not spying," Sylvian replied automatically, he hadn't looked away once. "I was..." His voice faltered, "...conducting quality assurance."
Another burst of laughter. 'So that's why you're blushing?'
"I am radiant by nature." The attendants exchanged knowing looks, then one of them smiled warmly, motioning him to come closer.
He floated forward almost absentmindedly, you turned at the sound of wings, "There you are." The smile you gave him was small but warm as ever, Sylvian landed on your shoulder without a word, he reached up with both tiny hands and adjusted a single orchid bloom near your temple. Not because it needed fixing, it was because he wanted an excuse to touch you.
"...Perfect." His voice came out much quieter than he'd intended. "You've been running around all morning." You chuckled. "Everything finished?" He looked utterly offended. "Of course...mostly. The flower arch is slightly off."
"It can wait."
"Can it?" You reached up, cupping him carefully in your hand. "So can you." His wings gave one helpless flutter.
"I..." He looked back toward the bustling grove, fairies hanging lanterns, birds weaving ribbons, blossoms opening one by one. Then back to you. "...Perhaps."
You smiled, "My Sylvian." He made the tiniest, most indignant noise, face turning the exact shade of the orchids decorating your clothes. He lifted his chin with practiced elegance. "I selected someone extraordinarily beautiful to marry."
His tiny hand found your finger, curling around it. "They'll spend the next hundred years trying to imitate this wedding."
"And if they do?"
He grinned, all bright confidence and impossible charm returning in full. "They'll fail." He leaned forward, pressing a feather-light kiss against your knuckle. "Because they'll never have you."
And for all his vanity—for all the admiring mirrors, the endless fussing over flowers, the dramatic critiques and impeccable standards—everyone present knew the truth.
Sylvian had always believed he was the most beautiful thing in the forest, until the day he met you.
Now, every beautiful thing he found became something he wanted to place gently at your feet, hoping the forest itself might reflect even a fraction of the wonder he saw whenever he looked at his beloved.

AN This is kinda small my bad- BUT for today's prompt i chose- Autumn! Kinda vauge and i wish i did more, might revisit the fic later.
.
..
Sylvian was brooding.
Not just his usual dramatic kind of brooding — this was full-on, wings-drooping, muttering-to-himself, "nature-has-betrayed-me" brooding.
He sat on the windowsill, staring mournfully at the gray sky outside as the last of the blossoms wilted in the chill. A single petal drifted down, and he caught it midair like a tragic hero in some flower-filled opera.
"Spring is leaving," he lamented, his voice thick with exaggerated despair. "My season! My stage! Gone, snatched away by that dreary brute called Autumn."
You sipped your warm drink behind him, hiding your smile. "You say that every year."
"And every year," he replied dramatically, pointing at nothing in particular, "it hurts just as much!"
But the complaint trailed off into a sigh as the scent of your drink reached him — honey, spice, and warmth. He turned his head, eyes drawn to the rising steam like a moth to flame.
You held the mug a little closer, teasing. "Want a sip?"
He hesitated for about half a second before fluttering into your lap, wings brushing your sweater. “I suppose… I could tolerate some autumn comforts,” he murmured, trying to sound aloof while already curling against your chest.
You handed him a tiny thimble of tea, his perfect-sized cup. He took a dainty sip, then nestled deeper into your scarf, sighing as the warmth seeped into his small frame.
Outside, the wind rustled through fallen leaves. Inside, Sylvian was already half-asleep, bundled in the folds of your sleeve like a stubborn bloom refusing to wilt.
“Maybe,” he mumbled, voice muffled against your sweater, “I’ll allow the cold to stay. Just until I’ve fully recovered from my emotional distress.”
You smiled, stroking his soft hair as his wings fluttered lazily.
For someone who always claimed to belong to spring, Sylvian sure looked perfectly at home in your arms with the smell of cinnamon in the air and warmth tucked all around him.

AN I couldn't sleep and this little itty bitty bastard was on my mind lately. I love thinking about the little angry man and his giant lover.
.
..
Sylvian’s wings shimmered like twilight as he tugged you along the forest path, his tiny hands surprisingly insistent for someone barely the length of your palm.
“Come, darling, no questions,” he said, tossing a wink over his shoulder. “If I must explain, it ruins the surprise.”
The trail grew softer, lusher, until the trees bent in a cathedral arch above. Ahead, moonlight poured into a clearing where water trickled over moss and blossoms opened wide in impossible colors, glowing faintly as though they were stitched with starlight.
Sylvian fluttered ahead, spinning dramatically in the air before bowing with a flourish. “Voilà! My sanctuary. My heart’s greenhouse. My everything-looks-better-in-this-light stage.” His grin softened, just slightly. “And now… ours.”
The place was dreamy — a pocket of magic that hummed with calm. You sat carefully amongst the glowing flowers, soaking in the hush of water and the whisper of his wings. Sylvian perched on your knee, leaning back with a satisfied sigh.
That’s when you noticed them.
A cluster of tiny lights, peeking from the ferns. Wings flickered, whispers hissed low in a language you didn’t know, melodic and sharp all at once. The voices tumbled over each other, hushed laughter and curious tones, their glowing eyes fixed on… you.
“What are they saying?” you murmured, tilting your head.
Sylvian’s expression snapped like a twig underfoot. His violet eyes narrowed, his wings buzzing fast enough to stir the flowers around you. He rose into the air, puffing his chest and tail feathers, and in one swift motion, spread his wings wide — shielding you from view.
“Oh, no,” he barked in that lilting, musical Fae tongue, the sweetness of it twisted sharp with fury. The giggles from the ferns only grew.
One bold fairy peeked higher, murmuring something that had the others snickering.
Sylvian practically sparked. He spun midair, voice rising into a scolding tirade. You couldn’t understand the words, but the tone was unmistakable: scathing, jealous, mine.
At last, he stamped a glittering little foot midair and snapped his wings in a sharp clap. The group of fairies tittered, ducking back into the ferns, their laughter trailing like bells before fading into the night.
Sylvian hovered there a moment, wings twitching, chest heaving with his fury.
“Honestly,” he huffed, lowering onto your shoulder. “Like magpies to a jewel. No manners, no sense of boundaries. My sanctuary, my beloved, and they come sniffing like curious cats!”
You stroked his hair gently, amused at his fuming pout. “They must've thought I was cute, didn’t they?”
His cheeks flushed orchid-pink. He folded his wings tight, refusing to meet your gaze. “Cute? Pfft. They wouldn’t know beauty if it danced on their noses. You’re not cute.”
“Oh?” you teased.
“You’re devastating.” His voice dropped to a whisper, softer now, his forehead pressing against your jaw. “And you’re mine. Let them giggle. I’ll hex their wings crooked if they try again.”
He sighed, finally melting into you, all tension unraveling into that dreamy quiet again. And beneath the hush of flowers and water, you swore you heard his wings hum a little softer, like a lullaby meant only for you.
I know you don't do headcanons often, but could we please get one with Opal, Solari, Marble, Sylvian and the Mailman (does he have a name? I don't remember :<) on how they would react if Reader took a hold of their hands and started gently kissing them? Like, the inside of their palms, their fingertips, their wrists. Lovey dovey stuff like that cause I'm an addict of your work and OCs (///ω///)♪
If they're too many characters, just the characters you feel like writing are ok! (/^^)/⌒●~*

AN Goodness this took so long BUT I wanted to drop this off before my semester starts! This was super fun to make, hope I did each character justice, Sylvian's was funny to imagine since yknow he's a fairy. Hope you enjoy! And I gave the Mailman a name — I did in fact forget to give him one

🦋 Opal Headcanons
• You start by taking his hand absentmindedly. He thinks nothing of it at first — he’s used to holding you.
Then you turn his palm upward, and kiss the center of it. Opal freezes.
• His antennae snap upright. His wings flare out in a startled, soft whuff behind him.
He looks at you like you’ve just cast a spell on him.
• He absolutely cannot pull his hand away. When you lift his fingers one by one and kiss each fingertip? He’s done for.
His shoulders go soft, his wings tremble faintly, his knees actually weaken a little.
• He watches you like you’re performing sacred ritual. And when you finish?
He immediately presses his hand to his chest like you’ve left warmth behind in his bones.
• If you tilt his wrist and press your lips just below where his pulse flutters? Opal makes a small, helpless sound.
Mothfolk pulses run faster than humans’. You can feel it quicken under your lips.
• He flushes visibly. “That’s unfair,” he says softly, though there’s no real complaint in it. “You can feel how nervous I am.”
His wings slowly curve inward, instinctively trying to cocoon the moment — trying to protect you, protect himself, protect whatever that feeling is.
• He'll whispers things like:
“I didn’t know I needed this.”
“You’re so sweet with me.”
“You always are.”
He is not embarrassed in a defensive way — just overwhelmed in a soft, fluttery way.
• After you’re done? He studies his hands like they’ve changed.
Then he looks at you like you’ve changed him. “You make even my hands feel loved,” he says quietly.
• And the next time he holds your face? He’s impossibly gentle. Because now he understands how something so small can mean so much.
🌷 Marble Headcanons
🕊️ Solari Headcanons
• You take their hand without warning and Solari goes completely still. Not tense — just… stunned. Like you’ve just interrupted a sacred ritual.
• “What are you doing?” they ask, voice low, careful. You don’t answer. You press a gentle kiss to the inside of their palm. Their wings flare.
• Angels run warm, but when your lips touch their skin, the warmth spikes. Their fingers twitch involuntarily, feathers ruffling in a soft, audible frrp behind them.
“That is… unnecessary,” they murmur. But they do not pull away.
• When you kiss their fingertips one by one, Solari watches you like you’re performing something holy. A faint, betrayed coo escapes them.
• The inside of their wrist is worse, the moment your lips brush there, right over the pulse of celestial light beneath their skin, their composure cracks.
• Their head tips back slightly. Just slightly, their wings shudder.
“You must stop,” they whisper. Don't stop
• Solari tries so hard to maintain their suave dignity. Back straight, chin lifted, voice steady. But the second you lace your fingers with theirs and press another soft kiss into their palm? They lean forward, chasing the warmth.
• And if you press one last kiss to their knuckles? Solari finally moves.
Their free hand comes up to cradle your jaw, thumb brushing your cheek with impossible tenderness. They bend just enough to rest their forehead lightly against yours.
• “…If you continue,” they murmur, voice hushed and reverent, “I may forget every law written for my kind.”
Their wings curl around you instinctively. And very softly, very contently — They coo.
• You take his hands suddenly, and he goes completely still. “Is this… a new ritual?” he asks softly — but he doesn’t pull away.
• You kiss the center of his palm. He inhales sharply. “That part of me has never been important before,” he whispers. “You make it feel… chosen.”
• You press a kiss to each fingertip, he watches like you’re performing magic.
Afterward, he flexes his fingers slowly.
“They remember you,” he murmurs in awe.
• You kiss the inside of his wrist. His other hand instinctively rises to cradle yours.
“You are very gentle with something that could outlast centuries,” he says, almost dazed.
• If you keep holding his hands after? He turns them over, studying your palms like constellations. Then he presses a careful, cool kiss to your knuckles.
“I would like to learn how to love you exactly like this,” he admits.
• If you explain that it just means you care about him? His faint glow brightens.
“Then I will treasure my hands,” he decides. “Because you have.”
• Later, when you’re not looking, he touches the spot you kissed. Just to remember the warmth.
🌺 Sylvian Headcanons
• The first time you gently take his hand, he assumes you’re about to admire it. “Yes, they are elegant. Try to keep up.”
• Then you press a kiss to his tiny palms. He pauses, wings freeze mid-buzz. Glow flickers. “Wh— That is highly irregular behavior.”
• When you kiss the inside of his palm, he inhales sharply. He tries to pull his hand back with a scoff, but doesn’t actually let go.
“You’re… being very bold right now.”
• Fingertip kisses absolutely ruin him, he watches your lips touch each tiny finger like you’re handling something precious, and his expression goes from smug to soft in seconds.
“…You’d think I was fragile,” he murmurs. He secretly loves that you treat him like he is.
• If you kiss his wrist, right where his pulse hums with magic? His wings flare bright orchid-purple. That’s intimate, he goes quiet. Staring. Processing. Then softly, “Do that again.”
• He pretends he’s unaffected. “Yes, yes, worship is expected.” Meanwhile his ears are pink, and his free hand is gripping your sleeve like he’s afraid you’ll stop.
• He'll lean forward, pressing his forehead to your nose. “You’re spoiling me,” he whispers.
He sounds pleased about it.
• Sometime after you finish, he guides you to turn your hand over and kisses your fingertips back — very delicately.
“Fair exchange,” he says. “I am nothing if not generous.”
💜 Mailman Rowan Headcanons
• The first time you take his hands, he freezes, completely. Wings half-lifted, mid-breath. His back hoof immediately starts that tiny nervous tap.
• "Oh— are— is this—?” He doesn’t pull away. Not even close. His hands are warm, slightly calloused from carrying satchels and parcels.
• When you bring his palm to your lips, his wings flare just a little in shock. That does something to him. His fingers twitch instinctively, like he wants to close them around your hand but is scared he’ll ruin the moment.
• His tail swishes once. Twice. “I—I deliver letters,” he murmurs faintly, watching you like you’re performing sacred magic. “No one’s ever… written on me before.” He blushes so hard it reaches the tips of his ears.
• “That tickles,” he whispers, but he doesn’t move. If anything, he leans closer. When you kiss each fingertip individually, he looks like he might ascend.
• When you kiss his wrists his wings shudder, that’s a vulnerable spot and he knows it.
• His voice drops softer, barely audible. “You’re very gentle with me.” He finally gathers the courage to lace his fingers with yours afterward. He presses your knuckles to his lips in return—hesitant at first, then firmer once he realizes you’re not pulling away.
• He starts offering his hands to you shyly. Not demanding. Just… presenting them. If you kiss his palms again, he rests his forehead against yours, eyes closed.
A/N: I hardly see fairies either, i get the charm with bigger and better but sometimes i giggle at a cutie patootie wanting to beat me up but they can't- our size doesn't let them. Speakin of them- this is gender neutral so everyone can enjoy ♡

The first time you met Sylvian, you thought someone had spilled a jar of sunlight across the forest floor.
No — not sunlight. Color. A shimmering riot of purples, pinks, and golds, all wrapped up in one infuriatingly beautiful, infuriatingly sassy fairy. His wings, gossamer and streaked with hues like a wild orchid in full bloom, caught the light with every dramatic flick of his wrist.
"And who might you be," Sylvian had said, the words curling off his tongue, hands perched on his hips. His violet eyes raked over you in quick, merciless judgment before he clicked his tongue. "Honestly. Walking into my glen without even announcing yourself? The audacity."
From that moment, you were marked.
And not just by the glen's prickly thorns or the bewildering magic of the forest. No — Sylvian had decided you were his, in the same way a cat might decide a particularly intriguing sunbeam belonged to them.
He wasn’t controlling. If anything, he fluttered around you like an overexcited butterfly, offering you bright petals, elaborate spells, or shiny things he’d stolen ("borrowed") from passing travelers. But he got jealous — adorably, pettishly so — whenever anyone else so much as looked your way.
"Who was that?" he demanded one evening, plopping himself onto your shoulder as you walked back to your camp. He weighed nothing, but his presence was as loud as ever, wings whirring irritably.
"That merchant?" you asked, amused. "Just some guy selling trinkets."
"Hmph." Sylvian crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes. "He smiled at you. Far too much. Gross, isn't it? Teeth all weird and shiny. Probably a scammer. You’re far too precious for people like that."
"You jealous?" you teased.
He gasped — actually gasped — and flipped around to face you, hands on his hips. "Me? Jealous? Pfft! Don’t be ridiculous! I am above such peasant emotions!"
Then, after a beat, quieter: "...Maybe a little. But only because you're mine."
It wasn’t possessiveness that smothered. It was possessiveness that thrived.
That colored every interaction like the vibrant swirls of his wings, an affection too bright to hide.
Sylvian was a storm bottled in petals and light, but he loved you with every flutter of his wild heart — and he would not let the world forget it.
Especially not when he perched on your shoulder like a living jewel, glaring at anyone who dared get too close, muttering under his breath about "uncultured pests" and "suspicious glances," and occasionally — just occasionally — tossing a tiny glamour hex when he thought you weren't looking.
"What?" he'd say when you caught him. "I'm just making sure they know you're taken. Nothing serious. Just... a little frizz in their hair. Maybe a sneeze or two. I am nothing if not subtle, darling."
And somehow, with him glowing by your side, the world didn’t feel quite so heavy.
