I love the OVA so much too! It's really a shame they never made a full anime series out of it. The music was 10/10 too.
The OVA is great! I’m so glad I finally got around to watching it, because I wasn’t disappointed in the least!! And I was very surprised by how nicely the music fit with the theme. On the topic of it never having a full anime release, I have to say that maybe keeping it as a one shot (so to speak) may have been better in the long run? Quality in media usually goes down when things are made into a series. Not to say that series always turn bad when they have long installments, it’s just that the OVA is very special and I think it’s so special and well-remembered because of that high quality and it’s singular uniqueness.These are only my opinions though.It would definitely be nice if SEGA/Sonic Team could produce more stuff like this in the future, however! Maybe someday we’ll get something like the OVA again.
