-okay so for this situation i present to you: aromantic/demisexual enjolras, who comes to the realization one day that he has never had sex in his life and the thought irks him
-he's over at courfeyrac's apartment so they can work to put together a website for their current service project and point blank announces, "i don't want to be a virgin anymore >:/" and courfeyrac kind of stares at him because... "okay?"
-enjolras is still huffy because he would theoretically like to have sex but he doesn't know anybody who would want to have sex with him that he's attracted to. combeferre is asexual and taken, feuilly is taken, and jehan would laugh at him and bring it up to the group later and enjolras voices these grievances to courfeyrac
-whole time, courfeyrac is internally really insulted that he wasn't on that list and he wants to kick combeferre in the NUTS for being at the top of enj's sexy list and courfeyrac speaks his mind and is just like "okay why am i not an option"
-enjolras is like "... oh i didn't consider you" because truly they have been friends since they were tiny children- they grew up in the same village and lived four houses down from each other and he didn't consider courfeyrac at all
-he's like "you have a lot of sex, don't you?" and courfeyrac isn't sure whether to be embarrassed or proud and he nods because, yes. courfeyrac gets ass. and enj hums like "oh okay, you'd do."
-it's actually a really nice dynamic for the both of them. enjolras enjoys having sex with courfeyrac because he never makes things weird, he knows how to make both of them feel good, and they can get lunch afterwards and have it totally be normal
-enjolras uses a lot of their sex as a stress reliever and he has years of pent up sexual frustration. courfeyrac sort of uses their sex as an experiment to try new things out and just kick back
-they're both open to trying anything new at least once, and because they're just best friends it makes things hilarious sometimes. early on, they try handcuffs and have to call the fire department to cut enjolras loose because the key broke inside of the lock and they couldn't find a way to safely get him the fuck out of the cuffs and as a fireman sawed enjolras loose, courfeyrac was trying so hard not to lose it that he almost burst a blood vessel. enjolras once tried whipping courfeyrac but courfeyrac couldn't stop laughing at how hysterical this situation was and then enj started laughing and almost whipped himself. they have a lot of fun together
-whenever courfeyrac tries out a relationship, they can stop because tbh it was never that deep to either of them and they can still be friends- just without any chains and whips and awkward positions for the first time. and if courfeyrac dumps or gets dumped, it's back to the usual
