LOL I KNOW the funny thing about S6 is that there is no in between of good deancas episodes, like season 6 deancas is either Perfect (TM) or Trash (TM) so I cut out episodes like family matters (6x07) and caged heat (6x10) bc I don’t care about samuel or his subplot at ALL but once we get into the angel civil war stuff? perfect incredible flawless ESSENTIAL deancas content

can I just thank you profusely for your service to the community with your “endless heated rivalry” gif series??? They’re so fucking great to have because they inspire so much conversation in the reblogs, comments, and tags while we all stare at the beauty of each moment

Oh also I’m assuming you know the basic romanticized principle of Thankgiving which actually might not be the case? Basically some of the first white settlers in 1621 shared a harvest meal with the local Native Americans who had showed them farming techniques and crops and caused them to not starve in a new country. So the thanks is for like harvest/food and family and others you share it with (and totally ignores that we murdered pretty much all of those Native Americans in the years after..)

yea i knew a lil bit about that meal and about how they then killed everyone.. people really seem to ignore that and i think is super important to know about those things,, the same thing happens here, everyone ignores how the spanish killed all the pueblos originarios and the english would go to the south of chile and kidnap people bc they looked different to take them to their fuking human zoos

It’s rooted in the fall harvest, which is why it’s this time of year, and it’s about feasting which is why there’s so much food. The latter could probably explain why some families will keep all the food on a serving table or counter and everyone will go up buffet style, but it definitely depends on the family. All of my various thanksgiving celebrations all set the food on the dining table and pass it around, so it just depends. (Hope you actually wanted an answer for the tgiving thing lol)
