Well....this was a sight one typically didn't see. The contraption had been set up specifically to catch a devil fruit user based on the fact that it kept dunking the person into salt water from where they dangled from a rope. Granted, Sanji and Usopp had created the trap for their captain who kept stealing food in the middle of the night, but this was, in his opinion, even better than the intended target. The rope was now securely tied around not their captain, but the ankles of a particular fire wielder.

The sight of Ace dangling there like a drowned cat caused his lips to twitch towards a grin even as he crossed his arms and leaned to the side. Tipping his head to look into Ace's gaze as he drawled. "Did you even pause to think about why the food was just sitting there in the middle of the night?"
