Hibiki didn’t know this girl, but she was so cute there was no way he could try to wake her up. He wasn’t sure what to do at all, so he just stayed quiet and tried to stay still so he wouldn’t end up accidentally waking her.

He'd managed to find her lost and confused wandering the streets of the ever dubious sector three. The inspector couldn't have just left her there so he had made an effort to figure out her apartment, and hopefully if there was one a guardian. With little luck on the latter, they ended up on the bus to her apartment.

Suddenly he felt a little weight on his side. All that hyperactivity had caught up with her. Sighing, he shifted a little in an effort to make himself a more comfortable resting prop. Oddly enough he'd never considered himself that good with children, but all of his experiences so far had been fairly positive. It was a surprise that he felt as comfortable as he did, and that children felt comfortable enough around him to rest easy was a shock as well.

Oh well, at least she'd be in a (relatively) safe place back at her apartment. That's what really mattered in the end.
