you know i really get endou for not telling natsumi that her cooking actually sucks because if i ever get in a relationship with natsumi and she gives me this look

i dont think i can ever say those food are horrible. i don't think i have the heart to say anything she does is horrible for that matter. i dont think i can say no to her.

im sorry, have you seen natsumi? have you seen that smile?? you think you can no to that?

also considering that they're obviously newlyweds and how natsumi is still in the honeymoon phase (in this case likely 1-2 years AT MOST from the wedding) and she will go back to chairperson duties, she's absolutely indulging as much as she does during this period. i love how she acts like this in the privacy of her own home and only in front of people she adores.

as funny as the bit of "haha Natsumi can't cook, even in GO" is (<- does not find it funny at all) can you imagine Endou inviting Tenma to dinner and it's all standard, normal-looking food that tastes great. and Tenma's used to it bc I'm sure Aki's food is really good too. but the focus of that scene is on Endou, looking at his wife lovingly, knowing how hard she's worked to learn how to cook and being so proud of her for all the progress she's made. it's clear how much he loves her, and they share a look and they both look at each other so lovingly and happy. and maybe there's like a really salty riceball somewhere in there as a nod to the fact that she's not perfect and still messes up sometimes, but Endou doesn't even mind the salt. he's taken a liking to it actually
