ooooh.... fun..... kinda depends on the kind of kiss? like im all for a platonic cheek or forehead kiss but i think like full on kissing (maybe even making out) platonically is so rad ngl. it makes a relationship so interesting. kinda goes with a fwb kind of relationship which i always adore so platonic kissing is all around great in my book

I'm tempted to use Japanese honorifics in this fic do you think this is a good idea. Especially given that if I did use them, it would only be in certain cases. Would it be odd. Or maybe in this steampunk version of Japan honorifics have become more common only in those certain cases??? Or Rui and Mizuki are just weird about using them.

And if I did use them, do you think a little robot of Rui's which is capable of speech would use Kamishiro-sama (bc of the authority he has) or -sensei (like doctor or even master) for him? Which one would Rui program it to use??

ooh fun questions.... hard to say for sure because i dont know what these certain cases Are but i would say it wouldnt be odd. i generally use honorifics in my writing in that i stick to what character call each other canonically (theres a spreadsheet of that somewhere that i could dig up if you want) so i dont think it would be odd for any particular reason. although there are times i dont use honorifics like in some kind of fantasy-esque au, because i guess i dont feel like it fits? so i mean its up to you but i dont think its weird for this specific au

hmm. ... thattt is tricky... i feel like the last name might be a little too impersonal? like if its something he created then their relationship probably is like. not super formal. so i feel like rui-sama or rui-san . or maybe just rui might work

My sibling has been talking about a rui card she plans on getting. It's this super pretty steampunk one, and because of it I've decided that I want to make a mizurui steampunk AU. I've come to hear if you have any info about that card I should know or literally any ideas for this thing otherwise :3 Like what would mizuki be doing in steampunk. What does she even do in canon actually. What does rui do??

so this is the card, right. super pretty and steampunky BUT ALSO it has the whole nature taking over architecture vibe, WHICH I FUCKING LOVE. very rain world esque but i dont think you know anything about that game so thats a pointless comparison to make but i digress. SO i think a post apocalypse angle would be super fun for an au like this! abandoned cities, vines growing over cogs, collapsed bridges, the like.

sooo for what rui could be doing.... hes already an inventor canonically and the card is very inventor-y so,, probably chillaxing and making automatons and shit? sorry i have to admit im not like. super into steampunk. i like the aesthetic but im not very well versed in anything besides the vibes bUT i do love me a post apocalypse. so i can imagine him holing up in like an abandoned city and slowly rebuilding it himself? with all the fun steampunk shit you can think of.

as for mizuki!! she doesnt have any especially steampunky cards but there are these two that give me ideas

they make me think like. clockwork/wind up doll? so maybe mizuki could be some kind of automaton?? maybe rui makes her or just stumbles onto her while exploring or something.

but if you don't like that one! mizukis second focus set has the whole theme of 'wanderers' and while that specific set doesnt fit the vibes really (its much more fantasy) i think a post apocalyptic wanderer is always a fun idea! lots of room for a mysterious past..

anyway these are all just ideas so if you dont like any of them or wanna do your own thing you should... also i know i kinda strayed from steampunk sorry😔i just really like post apocalypse

as for what mizuki and rui do in canon. .. its kinda funny how vastly different they are. mizuki is the animator for n25 so she makes all the music videos but they only ever meet up at 1am because theyre weird little freaks so she does her job like once a day in the middle of the night. she also skips school like 60% of the time because shes a silly goof . so she spends a lot of her time sewing or going to the mall or like. watching anime. or having a mental breakdown. shes cool like that

RUI meanwhile. has like. a full time job? in his troupe? and they run off of looney toons logic. the suspension of disbelief you need for wxs is. um well he writes, directs, makes props for, acts in, rehearses for, and puts on entire productions. and goes to school. and still, somehow, has freetime. i will never figure it out. but basically what he does in canon is blow shit up and launch tsukasa out of cannons. also sometimes he does normal things i guess

sorry this is a completely unrelated side tangent. but did you know that akito is the only character who canonically has dyed hair. he canonically bleached that dumb little blond streak into his hair and everyone elses hair color is natural. rui has bright purple hair with teal streaks. mafuyus hair is purple and so is her moms. its?? genetic? the purple hair is genetic.

Not entirely sure if I've asked you this before, but what's your opinion on internal monologue in fiction? (mainly fanfic but yea)

ooh thats a fun question.... i guess it kind of depends how its done? i feel like it can be really easily overused. cause like a lot of internal monologue is just telling you what a character is thinking and feeling which like. you should do sometimes obviously. but too much and it gets really boring. but 0 internal monologue makes it a lot harder to tell what the character is thinking or feeling yknow? so i guess its mainly about balance

i dont like 1st person internal monologue tho. where its like actually the characters thoughts word for word. i dont know why . i always write my internal monologue in 3rd person
