i did actually really truly enjoy this event....... ena is so splendidly wonderful . love
first off. shinei is suuuch an assholei hope he blows up. i dont give a shit if he had good intentions or good advice when the way he presented them was so disgustingly shitty. sorry telling your middle school aged daughter she doesnt have talent and will never achieve her dreams is fucked no matter what. asshole.
i think, though, even though he told her in the worst way possible, he could be right. i really enjoy the whole talent vs earned skill thing they have going on because. maybe ena genuinely wasnt born with talent. some people just arent. maybe she has to work twice, three times as hard as another person to get the same results.but shinei is wrong to believe she doesnt have the drive to put in the work, the effort, that shes not strong enough to endure the pain of rejection again and again.
ena is so extremely driven. passionate to the point of tears. stubborn beyond measure. it actually fucks me up a little bit. hes wrong to think she cant do it, no matter how talented she is. she can and she will, no matter how many times she fails. she cries and gets frustrated and almost gives up, but every time, she chooses to keep going. because shes too goddamn stubborn to not. to listen to what anyone tells her to do. and that fucking ripppps bro.
i also really enjoy how it was kanades song that brings her back. shes so strong on her own, but it shows just how much stronger they are together, you know? i love how much they support each other, even this early on. i also love how her entire attitude changes every time Kanade gives her a compliment lmaoooo gay
big fans of enas relationship with mafuyu this early too. she resents her because she has all the talent she wish she had, with none of the drive she does have. she doesnt even care and drives ena crazyyyy cause she cares so fucking much!!! they both have what the other wants. reaallly good. i love early n25 so dearly
so yeah really good and enjoyed the overall message, that no matter how much talent you were born with, you can still put the work into improving. really good shit
story: 8/10. really awesome 1st event
set: 4/10. its, like, fine, i guess. nothing that interested or pretty. mafuyu is just🧍♂️
