Prompt for the win!! EnnoSuga - "Why protect my reputation now, I'm a dead man anyway."

The body hits the floor with a thump and a groan, and Koushi grins at the pained sound. There’s another man on somewhere behind him in a similar position, gasping for air after Koushi’s hard punch to the solar plexus, and Koushi knows that neither of them will be getting up anytime soon. It’s a bit different from his usual approach, but also somewhat refreshing, a much needed release of his sensibilities.

There’s slow, familiar footsteps ahead of him, and he looks up with a scowl. The voice that directs itself to him is even more familiar, could only possibly sound more like what Koushi remembers if it were a breathy moan in his ear instead. “Well, well, hello there.”

Koushi tries to ignore the feeling it brings up, focuses instead on what he’s here to do. “I suggest you get out of my way.”

“Oh, Koushi, is that any way to talk to an old friend?” Ennoshita has a wicked look on his face, like he knows exactly how his words will affect Koushi, like he can’t wait to see what happens next.

“Okay.” Koushi takes a deep breath and smiles, razor sharp. “Get the fuck out of my way.”

Ennoshita clicks his tongue at him and shakes his head, like he’s talking to a misbehaving pet. “So rude. What happened to the sweet, angelic Koushi who talked his way in and out of everything?” He pauses in his stride, and then grins. “Including my bed.”

“He’s dead, and I’m not looking for a fuck, I’m looking for information.”

“So forthcoming you are. Usually you cover up your true intentions with pretty words and a prettier smile.”

Koushi knows that, knows how very good he is at it, and he really doesn’t feel like thinking much about the need for the change. “Why protect my reputation now, I’m a dead man anyway.”

And with that he closes the distance between them, pausing just long enough to determine that Ennoshita isn’t going to move of his own free will. Then it’s another punch, hard, and a knee to the groin for good measure.

Ennoshita lets out a noise that’s much closer to a sound Koushi had heard from him in one bedroom or another, and he curls into a ball on the concrete. Koushi brushes his hands off and steps over him easily, like nothing more than a rolled up rug in his way. He should have enough time to find what he needs before any of them recover enough to walk again, and he plans on being long gone by then, a whisper on the wind.

This method certainly takes far less time, even if it was enjoyable to find himself in luxurious beds every night. Then again, with work done he can always go out and find himself some fun later. He grins as he goes, already looking forward to his reward.
