Sure! I’m going to have to tag a lot of things on these though, because they are, to be completely fair, disgusting.

There was a lot of material in the article for spot illustrations, so there were a lot more of those on the first pass (we were only required to take 2 to final). I also ended up combining the 2 two page spread sketches, and then rolling back the dismemberment significantly. I think the fact that there was no color also made things look a lot worse, as I had been going for a bio-tech angle from the start and hadn’t planned on using… real human flesh and blood colors. But b&w leaves a lot to the imagination. (My prof. looked at them and looked back at me and said, “My first thoughts are- gross!”)
