It's an EXR-P that enters the long, glass-lined hallway. Honestly, Robin finds the Blacksite a bit interesting; okay sure, there's strange, dangerous creatures running amok that want them killed. But it's nothing out of the ordinary when they investigate things such as those for a job. So instead of straying away from the glass that showed nothing but the cold, unrelenting dark of the deep sea; they trailed besides it. Places that were large and never-endingly Vast hadn't spooked them before, and it didn't now in the deep below.
As they walk along, stopping to investigate a few stray desks in hopes of some Data, they don't seem to notice any danger possibly looming 'round the bend...
( i'm absolutely not an entire month late on this.. what are you talking about..... im so sorry :sob: )
Nothing much of interest could be found in the drawers, maybe a few files here and there, a flash drive or two.. even a pen in one of them, probably forgotten.
as they looked in a drawer at the bottom, having to crouch down to get to it, they couldn't help but hear the rushing of water as a light suddenly bathed the room in it's crimson glory, sweeping over the room before settling exactly over the Expendable.
their back was turned to it, yet they felt that vaguely familiar pull, a strong pull, to turn around and look at what was causing the light....
they've read about it in files here and there, or at least have seen mentions of it.. but why was it..... angry..? usually it's light is a stark green against the usually dark environment, save for a few lights here and there..
whatever the case, they knew they should look away, to keep their gaze away, but it was akin to a dream, where you'd hardly even noticed you were looking towards it.
it was pretty, but the sudden pain caused them to flinch, squeezing their eyes shut.
